2. Ice is melting worldwide.Several species have died because the heat. The sea level has rise dramatic. Animals moves from their homes because the temperature. Ex. Butterflies, foxes and alpine plants moves to cooler areas. The precipitation (rain and snow) have increased all over the world. Effects of global warmingGeographical. Things that already happened 3. Thing that could happened. Sea level will rise from 18 to 59 centimeters approximate.Hurricanes and storms will get fiercer. Less fresh water. That leads to more people will be out of drinking water. And maybe die. 4. Expected effects of global warming by region. Australia and New Zealand: Because of the heat there will be more andlarger fires in woods. Theressome places in Australia that could be affected by the sea level if it rise. The increased sea level will lead to more and larger storms and hurricanes. 5. North America The rain fed will increase to 5 to 20 % in some areas. Decreased snowfall, reduced summer flows and decreased water resources. America will be affected of extreme heat- waves over the big cities. 6. Latin America If the sea level will rise, low lying parts of the country will be caused by flooding. The coral reefs will die if the temperature keeps rise. Europe Netherlands will be caused if the sea-level rise. Parts of the country will disappear. All Europe countries will be caused in some way of the global warming.( sea level, storms, floods). The mountainous parts will face glacier retreat ( reduced winter tourism, snow cower and big species lose). 7. Asia The Himalayas will melt and start big floods. The Hiamlayaswill cause drinking water problems. One billion humans can be affected of it. (2050) Africa 75 to 250 million people are projected to have drinking water big problems. Africa is one of the continents thats most vulnerable of the global warming extreme heat and stressed climate. Small islands and polar regions Small islands are going to be most affected by the sea-level rise,Storms Parts of the polar regions are going to melt because of the heat. Many unusual species will die because of the climate changes. . 8. Effects Of Global Warming From An Economic Point Of View 9. Positive Effects

  • Longer growing period in the colder areas of the U.S. 10. Cheaper to ship along the Northwest Passage.

Positive Effects

  • Longer growing period in the colder areas of the U.S. 11. Cheaper to ship along the Northwest Passage.

12. Negative Effects

  • Shorter winters makes the pests live longer, trees dies. 13. When the forest disappears countries that have forestry as a big part of their economy gets affected. 14. Summers gets longer and warmer and affects the forestry and more forest fires can occur.
  • Medical Expenses gets bigger because of asthma and allergies thrive when its hot.
  • The pollution kills 1000 Americans every increased degree. 15. Hurricanes increases the costs for medical expenses, forestry and construction industry.

16.

  • Food prices rise when we have to find different ways to produce environmentally friendly fuel. For example: In 2007, the Department of Energy in the U.S. bet 1 billion U.S. dollars in the branch producing biofuels. With that money it produced ethanol and using 20 percent of U.S. corn production to production of ethanol. This resulted in that the prices of corn rose in the skies though corn is often used to fatten livestock. The price rose by four percent. 17. A country with vehicles that effects our environment in a bad way gets a bad economy when we dont buy their vehicles. 18. 50 percent of the worlds population lives very close to the water. They have to move when the glaciers melts and then we have to buy and make new homes with vehicles that effects our environment in a worse way then cars.

19. HOW IT EFFECT SOCIAL

  • It is 1,5 billion people that have a lack of clean water
  • The lack of clean water makes food shortages
  • When the glaciers melts the sea levels get higher.
  • When the sea level get higher waterborne diseases spreads more quickly.
  • When it gets warmer is bigger chance to malaria flies to bite.

20. Political conflicts can be about: What people who will have access to fresh waterWhat countries which can take care of refugeesAbout carbon emission 21. Where can it be political conflicts?

  • The countries around the Nile 22. In Europe 23. In China and the U.S. 24. Somalia 25. Other countries in Africa

26. Thecountries around the Nile

  • Theyaredependent on the water flow. 27. Pollutions will occur in the water. 28. These countries will be affected: Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt. 29. There will be political conflicts about who should have access to water. 30. The countries located in the Nile early will get fresher and more water than the countries situated at the end of the Nile.

31. In Europe:

  • The countries will be forced to take difficult decisions on how many refugees they will receive and where they can stay or what they can work with. 32. Politics most decide whether they should decrease their carbon emission or not.

33. In China and the U.S.

  • They will suffer greatly because of the large presses from the world of the need to reduce carbon emissions.

34. Somalia

  • They already have political issues, which have lead to differences between rich and poor. 35. Because of the political conflicts it will be difficult for the people from Somalia to survive.

36. Other countries in Africa

  • The temperature will rise and they wont be able to live there. 37. Politics most take hard decisions, were the people will live and whos getting the water.
