In a time when innovative firearm development seemed to have paused, SIG SAUER changed everything with the introduction of the P250®, a

single modular pistol built around a serialized chassis, allowing the user to easily interchange calibers, grip sizes, triggers, and barrel lengths.

Other innovations include the P238™ and P556™. There have been many attempts to create a small pistol that’s practical enough for the deepest

concealment. With the introduction of the SIG SAUER P238, those attempts will likely be considered futile. The new P556 expands the utility of a

pistol by integrating the firepower of the 5.56 cartridge and proven gas operating rod system of the SIG556® into a compact package that is well

suited for time at the range or real world operation in a tactical environment.

ThE kEy To ThE P250’s vERSATIlITy is its metal frame and trigger assembly. At the heart of the P250 is a unique metal frame that fits easily into

any of the polymer grip housings chosen, with its serial number showing through an opening. By selecting caliber, trigger length, and other options, a

complete pistol is created. All told, one metal frame can be assembled into a wide range of calibers, sizes, triggers, and grip configurations.

P250 Caliber X-ChanGe™ Kit

In today’s environment there are many

considerations that impact a handgun

purchase. What is its intended use? How

will it be carried? Is it reliable? The P250

is the answer to all of these questions

and more. It can be adapted for a different

purpose or to a different shooter, as if

it were a custom pistol. The full size grip

and slide will maximize performance

and capacity for duty, or switch out

components for a compact or subcompact

that’s best suited for concealed carry.

Ambidexterity is important to the

concept of the P250’s universal

chassis. The slide catch lever works

from either side of the grip and the

ergonomic curvatures are symmetrical.

The magazine release can be readily

reconfigured to favor either hand, while

dehorned edges and low profile sights

prevent snagging during a draw from

either the left or right side.

SIG SAUER® shooters have the option

of owning a full frame P220, P226, or

P229 in .22 rimfire. Practice all day at

the range at a fraction of the cost of

using centerfire ammunition, while

retaining the feel and trigger pull of

your full frame gun. Regardless of

model, the smallbore’s frame is the

same as the Classic P220, P226, or

P229. The slide, barrel, and magazine

are engineered to accept and reliably

operate the low-cost, low-recoil

.22-caliber cartridge.

With the introduction of our centerfire

X-CHANGE Kits, shooters can add SIG

SAUER centerfire performance. The

caliber X-CHANGE Kit provides the same

components (slide assembly, barrel,

recoil system, and magazine) used in

standard centerfire production pistols.

Exchanging components does not

alter the reliability or accuracy of either

assembly. Owning a SIG SAUER

centerfire X-CHANGE Kit provides the

added benefit of having two pistols in
