MISSION• The mission of the
Lander Swim Club (LSC) is to empower athletes of all ages to achieve their personal best and grow as people through excellence in swimming.

capita in the nation.
Practice StructureDay Time Groups
Monday 3:30-4:30 LTS, White
4:30-5:30 LTS, Red, Green, Masters
Tuesday 6:00-7:30 Blue, Green, Masters
Wednesday 6:00-7:30 Red, Green, Masters
Thursday 3:30-4:30 LTS, White
4:30-5:30 LTS, Blue, Green, Masters
Friday or Saturday
3:30-5:30 or 10:00 am- noon

Our Swimming Family
2010 Goals
• Learn-to-Swim– Enjoy swimming!– Comfortability in the Water– Knowledge of Water Safety (IMPORTANT!)– Independently swim 25 front crawl and/or 25
backstroke– Graduate to White Group
2010 Goals
• White Group– Develop all 4 competitive strokes– Continue Water Safety knowledge– Participate in 1st swim meet(s)– Continue to enjoy swimming as a lifelong activity– Graduate to Competitive Development
2010 Goals
• Red, Blue, & Green Groups– 35 athletes qualify to attend Winter State
Championships• At least 4 athletes from each age group and gender• Place better than 5th at Winter State
– Achieve personal goals: qualify for States, Age Group/Sr. Sectionals, Zones, etc.
Parents & Volunteers:
• Board members, officials, fundraising, team events, organizing/ordering apparel, timing- all makes our team the best! We need PHOTOS!
• Support and cheer your swimmers! Help them set and achieve goals.
• Be active in Swimming! Show your swimmers that you care about their sport.
An essential part of this team!
Team Rules1. A shark’s home is our pool so take care of it!
a. Take care of yourself- responsible for suits, goggles, etc.b. Take care of your teammates – respect, encouragement.c. Take care of your pool – equipment, clean up, locker room
behavior, etc.2. Be on time! Anyone who is 15 minutes or
more late will not be able to swim.3. Know and follow the Code of Conduct.

• PARENTAL REQUESTS for DAILY PRACTICES:
1. You must stay off the deck.
2. Please speak to coaches before or after practices, not during.
3. Pick up your athletes promptly, help supervise locker rooms.
