No pipe preparation is needed and no force is required to push the pipe past theseal, so installation could not be faster or easier. Simply insert the pipe fully into thefitting and then tighten the nut. Assembly is so easy that you can even do it underlive conditions.No special tools are required and there is no need to disassemblethe fitting before use because the Metric/ImperialTM compression fitting is suppliedpre-assembled and ready to use.

1. Cut the pipe squareNo need to prepare pipe end.Chamfering or lubrication is notrequired.

4. Ready to use positionThe fitting is pre-assembled andready to use. Always ensure the nutis fully relaxed and 2 threads areshowing before inserting the pipe.

7. Fully installedFitting is now fully installed.

2. Ready to use positionThe fitting is pre-assembled andready to use, however alwaysensure the nut is backed off and 3threads are showing. Pipes at thetop of the tolerance may require 5threads showing.

5. Fully installedThe fitting is fully installed when thenut cannot be tightened any furtherwith reasonable force.

3. Pipe insertionTo ensure adequate insertion depth,witness mark the pipe to the flangeon the fitting. Then insert pipe to thecorrect depth.

6. DisassemblyUnscrew the nut with a wrench.Pipe will be released and can bepulled out of the fitting.

1. Cut pipe to lengthCut pipe square and to length usingflange on the central body as aguide. Ensure end of connectingpipe is undamaged and clean.

4. Nut tighteningTighten nut firmly with a wrench.nut will not butt against the bodyflange when the pipe size is at thetop end of the fitting tolerance.

• Use a pipe measuring gauge if there are doubts on pipe outside diameter (OD) size.• Installation instructions are also applicable and available to the MDPE/PE end.
