Excellent Traditional Summer Camp

Trailblazers...First year camper program. This new program is designed for the Scout at any age that has just joined the troop or a Scout who has recently “crossed over” from Webelos. Participants become comfortable with Scouting, summer camp, the patrol method, and general scout skills required for advancement to First Class. Outpost camping, cooking, a campfire program for their Scoutmasters and many other activities keep these Scouts busy! It is designed to enhance the training provided by the troop and not as a replacement.

Aquatics Programs Beautiful Lake Dillon is used for swimming, canoeing, rowing and fishing. Special courses or events such as B.S.A. Lifeguard, Half mile Swim, and Mile Swim are offered to interested Scouts. Canoe races across the lake as part of the camp-wide marathon are always a big hit with the Scouts. Safety in and on the water is supervised by National Camp School trained Life Guards and proper water safety is strictly enforced.

New Shooting Sports Facilities

Come and enjoy the brand new shooting

sports area! All three shooting sports areas have been rebuilt with state of the art rifle,

shotgun and archery facilities complete with

lights and new equipment!

Geocaching = GPS Learn how to use a global positioning device. Pre-determined locations around camp have been pro-grammed into the units and you will learn how to read the unit and find each of the caches.
