Inspired by the intricate and ornamental grip tape graphics of the past mixed with sophistication, the Vinson has a subtly raised pattern running from halfway back of center, to the nose and tail. With a slight texture it is very much a skateboard top sheet.
an elevated teardrop bubble right of center in the middle of the board sports the Option logo and references again the top sheet graphics of old school skate board decks of the 1980’s and early 1990’s when boards had a large space between the front foot and back foot where graphics like the Powell Peralta dragon were placed.

The Signature was born in the mountains of British Columbia Canada where the snow conditions and terrain changes drastically from the top of the mountain to the bottom. In one run you can encounter snow covered bowls and choppy snow, jump a cliff or two, ride a hit run, duck into the trees for some day old powder and hit a few booters in the park before riding back on the groomers to do it all over again. If you want a premium high performance all mountain board that can handle it all, the Signature is for you.

The Signature is a freeride snowboard inspired by fixed gear bicycles. a snowboarder and a fixie rider share a common mentality–riders charge with complete control because stopping is not an option. We used visual cues from “fixie” bikes such as incorporating a palette of colors from the coolest vintage bikes and brought them into the Signature. We incorporated the traditional World Cup Champion stripes of cycling into a 6 color die cut base.

The planchette is the indicator on a ouija board that mystically spells out your future. Similarly the Fortune board, with it’s all terrain capabilities, will guide you throughout the mountain, exploring new places and revealing new adventures.
