1 Remove the main seat and the passen-ger seat.

2 Remove the chrome left hand enginecover below the fuel tank.

3 Remove the fuel tank. To remove thefuel line squeeze the orange tabs ofthe connector and push in (Fig. A).

4 Unplug the three electrical connectors.

6 Attach the black ground lead from thePCIII to the negative side of thebattery (Fig. C).

Squeeze this line to remove

5 Lay the PCIII in the battery area androute the PCIII harness towards thefront of the bike (Fig. B). Follow the stock wiring harnessthrough the guides.

7 Locate the throttle body which isunder the fuel tank. Unplug the stock wiring harness fromeach injector (Fig. D).

8 Unplug the stock Throttle PositionSensor connector (Fig. D). This is aGREY 3 pin connector.

9 Plug the PCIII harness in line of thestock wiring harness and throttle bodyconnections (Fig. E).The ORANGE colored wires from thePCIII go to the front cylinder.

10 Secure the PCIII to the battery covertowards the rear of the shock usingthe supplied velcro.Make sure to clean both surfaces withthe alcohol swab before attaching.

11 Reinstall fuel tank and cover.
