BE IT REMEMBERED, at a special meeting of the Commissioners Court of Dallas County,
Texas, held on the 17th day of November , 2008, on motion made by
Kermeth A. Mayfield, QmnjssiQE[' of District NJ. 4 ,the following Order was adopted:
WHEREAS, THE MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED IS THE CANVASSING OF THE RESULTS OFTHE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 2008, (Election) for the purpose of electingpresidential electors, a u.S. Senator, Members ofCongress, state and district officers, Members ofthe TexasLegislature, County officers, district officers, and the adopting or rejecting the Parkland Bond as submitted bythe Dallas County Hospital District (d/b/a Parkland Health and Hospital System) RESULTS BEING ASFOLLOWS:
SEE ATTACHED COPY
WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court wishes to ratify the appointments made by and the actions taken by theDallas County Elections Administrator (the "Elections Administrator") with respect to the Election; and
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED by the Commissioners Court ofDallasCounty, Texas, that the returns be certified and reported to the Texas Secretary ofState in accordance with theTexas Election Code and the actions taken by the Elections Administrator, including the appointment ofthePresiding Election Judges, are hereby ratified and affirmed.

WHEREAS, THE MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED IS THE CANVASSING AND CERTIFICATIONOF THE RESULTS OF THE LOCAL OPTION ELECTION FOR THE CITY OF IRVING,NOVEMBER 4, 2008, (Election) for the purpose of adopting or rejecting the RESULTS BEING ASFOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court wishes to ratify the appointments made by and the actions taken by theDallas County Elections Administrator (the "Elections Administrator") with respect to the Election; and
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED by the Commissioners Court ofDallasCounty, Texas, that the returns be certified and reported to the Texas Secretary of State and the AlcoholicBeverage Commission in accordance with the Texas Election Code and the actions taken by the ElectionsAdministrator, including the appointment of the Presiding Election Judges, are hereby ratified and affirmed.
