INTRODUCTIONThe demand and need of fuel increasing day by day and so their price also. It becomes hard for a common man to afford vehicle for his convenience and comfort. In engine used now-a- days, liquid fuel is used to produce power. But, if we use gaseous fuel produced by liquid fuel as an alternative fuel to produce power in the engine, there is negligible loss in volume of liquid fuel and gas producing capability of fuel is still there. So it can be used for larger interval of time. This reduces overall cost of liquid fuel used, and by using this technique, we can eliminate surplus use of liquid fuel and expenses used to attain them and can also reduce pollution to some extent.

I.C. ENGINEwe are using gas of the liquid fuel, as an alternative fuel, in an internal combustion engine to produce engine. The main purpose of internal combustion engine to transform heat energy produced by burning of gaseous fuel into mechanical energy.Completion of cycle of operation in IC engine involves four strokes of the piston or two revolution of crankshaft.IntakeCompressionCombustionExhaust

POWER SOURCEPower source is used to produce gaseous mixture to run IC engine so that it will not consume the liquid fuel directly, but uses the gaseous produced by these liquid fuels.

Apparatus for power sourceThree conical flask.Three cork with two holes drilled in it.Connecting pipes.

Basically, three liquids are used to produce gaseous fuel and these are:-WaterKerosenePetrol

Above three liquid must be present in 3:2:1, in order to get desired result economically.

WORKING OF POWER SOURCEFirstly, the air will enter the first conical flask. It will mix with gas in first flask and now this mixture passes to second flask, where they again combine with gas present in second flask. Now this fuel mixture combine with gas of third flask as it proceeds from the second flask.

OPERATION IN ENGINEEngine is based on diesel cycle. The cycle of operation is completed in four stroke of engine piston or two revolution of crankshaft. The four strokes during cycle of operations are:-Intake or Suction strokeCompression stroke Expansion stroke Exhaust stroke

DESCRIPTION OF STROKESIntake or suction stroke- At the starting of suction stroke the piston is at top-dead-centre (TDC). The piston moves downwards to bottom dead centre and inlet valve opens simultaneously. The air fuel gaseous mixture is sucked in the engine cylinder due to suction created by the motion of piston. As the piston reaches to bottom dead centre the suction stroke ends and inlet valve closes and exhaust valve remains closed through the stroke.Compression stroke:-During the stroke, the piston moves in upward direction towards TDC. The air fuel mixture is compressed during the upward movement of piston, because during the stroke both inlet and exhaust valves are in closed position.

(contd.)Expansion Stroke: - Just before the end of compression stroke, the temperature and pressure air-fuel gaseous mixture increases But this temperature and pressure are not sufficient to self ignite air fuel gaseous mixture. We use fuel oil nozzle which spray diesel oil just before the end of compression stroke to initiate the process of combustion.Exhaust Stroke:-As the piston reaches BDC, the exhaust valve opens instantly and the inlet valve remains closed. The gaseous from whom the work has been collected, Escaped to the atmosphere.

PROPOSED OUTCOMEIt can be used to run low to heavy duty

engine. It can be used to replace household LPG gas

cylinder which is costly. It can used for welding purposes. Can also be used for military firetech guns.Low to high temprature range furnace.

CONCLUSIONThe gaseous fuel mixture produced by the combination of water, kerosene and petrol can be efficiently and effectively used on automotive engines, household equipments, welding purposes etc. There is no direct use of liquid fuel, so pollution can also be controlled by this. This fuel can bring a revolutionary change in field of energy generation. In this, pollution rate is controlled even by using the conventional fuel. This means, energy production is more than non-conventional sources, with less chances of occurance of pollution.
