Symptom

Trying to post an entry in T-code: FAGL_IT_01 or FAGL_IT_TR(program is FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS), the system shows error message F5842 "Balance in & currencies".

Reproducing the Issue

1. You have configured the system with Parallel currencies; 2. Try to run T-code: FAGL_IT_01 or FAGL_TR_01(Program: FAGL_YEC_POSTINGS); 3. Error message F5842 is issued.

Cause

The prerequisite for posting a document in financial accounting is that the balances for all currency types are zero, so the error occurred because it does not balance all currency types to zero.

Resolution

Please balancing all currency types to zero by using the T-code: FBB1, you are able to enter LC1, LC2 and LC3 amount manually to adjust the amount of currency types and adjust the balance to ZERO.
