Engineers and scien�sts use the COMSOL Mul�physics® so�ware to simulate designs, devices, and processes in all fields of engineering, manufacturing, and scien-�fic research.

COMSOL Mul�physics® is a simula�on pla�orm that encompasses all the steps in the modelling workflow. These steps include defining geometries, material proper�es, and the physics describing specific phenomena. Thus, it enables solving and postpro-cessing models for producing accurate and trustworthy results.

COMSOL So�ware Integra�on Capability/Power To create models for use in specialized applica�on areas or engineering fields, you can augment COMSOL Mul�physics® with any combina�on of add-on modules from the COMSOL product suite. The interfacing products make it possible to also integrate simula�on with other engineering and mathema�cal so�ware used in product and process design.

More than R&D ToolWhen you have developed a model, you can even convert it into a simula�on applica-�on with a dedicated user interface, which can be designed for a very specific use by people beyond the R&D department.

Chemicals MixerA simula�on of a mixers equipped with axial or radial impellers. The dimensions of the vessel, type of impeller and the loca�on of baffles can be varied to op�mize for an efficient mixing process.

Submarine cable Thermal effects temperature distribu�on throughout the cable crossec�on due to electrical current.

Oil Pla�orm CorrosionModel of an oil pla�orm surrounded by 52 sacrifi-cial aluminum anodes, simula�on isused to op�mize their posi�on for the best possi-ble corrosion protec�on of the steel structure.

Packed Bed ReactorThis model is set up to calculate the concentra�on distribu�on in the reactor-gas that flows around the pellets, but it also uses an extra dimension that models the concentra�on distribu�on inside each porous cataly�c pellet. The extra dimen-sion is built in the feature Reac�ve Pellet Bed.

Forced Air Cooling of a Heat SinkIn this simula�on of a heat sink based on a COMSOL Mul�physics model, the user can inves�gate the heat dissipated under various fan condi�ons. Inputs such as air temperature and flow velocity may be varied.

CARBON FIBERSHeat transfer analysis of thermally anisotropic carbon fibers.

FAN ASSEMBLYVibra�onal analysis of a fan assembly using nonconforming meshes with hanging nodes. Swept meshes are used in all domains, resul�ng in a mix of hexahedral and prism elements.

ICP TORCHModel of an induc�vely coupled plasma torch under atmospheric pressure. Simula�on results reveal electrical and thermal characteris�cs of the torch.

DIFFERENTIAL GEARSimula�on of the mechanism of a differen�al gear used in cars and other wheeled vehicles. The model is built using the available func�onality for simula�ng gears and racks, including spur gears, helical gears, bevel gears, worm gears, spur racks, and helical racks. Different types of gears and racks can be connected. A gear mech-anism can be built with gear parts imported from the Parts Library.

ACTUATORS & SENSORSA two-arm thermal actuator is ac�vated through thermal expansion, where the temperature profile is plo�ed on the resul�ng deformed shape. Rela�ve viscoelas�city changes during the clo�ng of blood are then measured through deflec�ons of the microcan�levers.

METAL FORMINGFluid-structure interac�on (FSI) in the cast and mold of an aluminum extrusion process. The isosurfaces show the dynamic viscosity in the non-Newtonian aluminum flow.

SOLAR DISH RECEIVERA parabolic solar dish collects solar radia�on forgenera�ng electrical power. The results of this simula�on trace the ray trajectories as they reflect off the dish and are concentrated onto a thermal receiver.

SEMICONDUCTOR DESIGN2D model of a MOSFET transistor. Simula�on results demonstrate the transistor opera�on where an appliedgate voltage turns the device on. The drain satura�on current is then determined. From top to bo�om: electric poten�al, hole density, and electron density are shown.

About Us

Elnady Engineering & Agencies is an Egyp�an engineering company that is specialized in a variety of engineering services; construc�ons, so�ware devel-opment and so�ware products’ agencies. We started our business back in 1994 in the field of construc�on services, mechanical and electrical installa-�ons where we comprise assorted services that provide turn-key projects.

We started to provide so�ware solu�ons for Mul�physics modelling since 2005 and we officially speak for COMSOL Group widely in the Arab countries.COMSOL Mul�physics® so�ware develops feasible so�ware for modelling and simula�on of real-world mul�physics systems. Addi�onally, we provide so�ware solu�ons for noise mapping and mathema�cal implementa�on by dint of SoundPLAN & Maple so�ware which we represent formally.

The collabora�on between Elnady Engineering & Agencies, researchers from Ain shams university (ASU) in Egypt and the Royal Ins�tute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden, resulted frui�ully in bringing SIDLAB so�ware to life in 2006. SIDLAB provides so�ware & hardware solu�on for the analysis and the measurement of sound genera�on and propaga�on inside duct networks. It complies a long experience and knowledge of using similar codes for all types of ducts acous�cs applica�ons in research, teaching and consultancy.

Our Acous�cs Consultancy Team provides engineering services in the fields of acous�cs and vibra�ons, suppor�ng domes�c and worldwide clients to design, assess, manage and control sound and vibra�ons in the built environ-ment. Our consultancy services are featured by our expert team of Professors, M.Sc. holders and Engineers in the field of Acous�cs, Vibra�on, Modelling & Simula�on, and Machine Design. We have designed the Acous�cs of several sensi�ve projects in Egypt, Gulf Countries, Europe, USA and China.
