1 Remove the seat.

2 Prop the front of the fuel tankup.

3 Lay the PCIII in the tail sectionand route the harness along theleft hand side of the subframeand go towards the throttle bod-ies. Route the harness underthe frame (Fig. A).

4 Locate the opaque 6 pin connec-tor and the white 4 pin connec-tor (Fig. B). These connectorsare on the left hand side of thebike behind the throttle bodies.

5 Unplug these connectors.

6 Plug the 6 pin connectors fromthe PCIII in-line of the opaquestock connectors (Fig. C).

7 Plug the 4 pin connectors fromthe PCIII in-line of the whitestock connectors (Fig. C).

8 Attach the black ground leadfrom the PCIII to the negativeside of the battery (Fig. D).

9 Install the PCIII in the tail sec-tion using the supplied velcro.Make sure to use the suppliedalcohol swab to clean both sur-faces before attaching the unit.

10 Use a zip tie around the frameand PCIII harness. Make sure tokeep the wiring harness awayfrom the seat lock mechanism(Fig. E).
