Rep Don Davis delivered a great talk last week. It was very interesting to hear about his years in the state house. I’m sure that most of us got a much better appreciation for the inner workings of our state government. Thanks for your valuable contributions to our meeting and the public good, Don.

DON’T FORGET

THOSE NICKELS

Governor Bill has been asking every Kiwanian in the District, that’s nearly 11,000 members, to send one roll of nickels to the convention for every immediate family member. Please don’t take him literally. Bring checks payable to the Florida Kiwanis Foundation or paper currency, rather than nickels. But if you are having fun scheming how to get the nickels into the Saturday luncheon, go ahead and bring them so long as he reaches his objective of every club and every member participating.

If your club won’t be represented at the convention mail your checks payable to the Florida Kiwanis Foundation to the District Office or to Governor Bill.
