7 Remove the muffler of the exhaustsystem to access the stock O2 sensor.

8 Unscrew the stock O2 sensor from themuffler (Fig. B).

9 Screw the Dynojet O2 sensor into themuffler and reinstall muffler assem-bly.

Note: On some exhaust systems it may benecessary to enlarge the hole in themuffler to accept the Dynojet O2sensor.

10 Follow the wiring harness for thestock O2 sensor up to the main har-ness which is located under the fueltank.

11 Unplug the stock O2 sensor from themain wiring harness (Fig. C). Youwill need to cut the zip ties. Thestock O2 sensor is no longer needed.

1 Remove the seat.

2 Remove the lower fairing.

3 Remove the left hand and right handfairings.

4 Remove fuel tank.

5 Install the PCIII module in the tailsection of the motorcycle. Figure Ashows the unit laying in the tail sec-tion but it can be mounted in severallocations. Make sure the unit or thewiring harness does not get com-pressed by the seat.

6 Route the wiring harness towards thefront of the bike.

17 Plug the PCIII in line of the stockinjector and TPS and the stock wiringharness (Fig. F).

Route the harness for the TPS behindthe throttle body. Make sure the har-ness does not interfere with the throt-tle linkage.

15 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe L.H injector (Fig. E).

16 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe Throttle Position Sensor (Fig. E).

Align the PCIII connector to the stockwiring harness as shown below. Thesquare edges of the PCIII connectoralign with the spring clip side of thestock wiring harness

13 Plug the Dynojet O2 sensor into thePCIII harness (Fig. D).

14 Use a supplied zip tie to keep the con-nector away from the throttle linkage.

19 Plug the PCIII harness in-line of thestock wiring harness and injector (Fig.H). Make sure to align the connectorsas in step 16.

20 Plug the connector from the PCIII tothe stock wiring harness (Fig. H).Use the supplied zip ties to secure thisconnection to the frame as it wasstock.

18 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe R.H injector (Fig. G).

21 Attach the ground wire from the PCIIIharness to the negative side of the bat-tery (Fig. J).

22 Before reinstalling the bodyworkcheck the routing of all wires toensure that they will not get pinchedor damaged. Also check the throttlecables as they enter the throttle bodiesto ensure that they are seated properly.

Note: The white 4 pin connector on the PCIIIharness is to hook up an optionalDynojet air/fuel gauge:
