Key Text - Colossians 1:15-1715 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heavenand on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were createdthrough him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

The Created CreationGod created all creation from nothing. Using His power, wisdom and understand as a blueprint, His word constructed all things, as His hovered over creation its divine Forman.

Unlike the rest of creation, God formed man in His own image and breathed His Spirit into him for the purpose eternal relationship.

God is distinct from and independent of Creation. He created all things and can not be confined by anything. He moves in and through creation but still rules sovereignly over it.

Creation depends on God for its stability and sustenance. God takes pleasure in meeting the needs of His creation.

The Glory-Giving CreationGod created all things to express his love, power wisdom and beauty to his creation. He does not need any Glory from us, but to glorify our creator should be our paramount priority.
