AD Guru (Quiz) A comprehensive set of questions, covering all the areas of marketing including branding, tag lines, advertisement, brand ambassadors etc. Team of 2 members with maximum point at the end wins. B. AD-Mad Show The heritage of marketing fest, and one of the most creative event of the fest. Each Team will bring their own ad in the first round and the teams will be given a product by the esteem panel of judges in the second round, and they will have to prepare an advertisement for the same, the best advertisement wins. C. Case Study: ‘Katha Saar’ Each participant will be given a common case, on the basis of the same, judges will ask questions to them. The most convincing answer wins. D. Marketing Plan Competition An event based conceptualizing,designing and developing a unique Marketing plan for a given product/service.The plan is expected to be innovative and commercially viable. E. Kabadi Bazaar One of the toughest competitions in MARKATHON,every participant will be given a waste product (such as. Used tissue, stick, broken chair etc), the participant will have to try to sell the same to the audience and convince the judges by his selling pitch. Best effort wins. F. Master of Market A Competition where you have to showcase your Entrepreneurship skills by selling something either in form of goods or anything that has to be brought from your end. G. AD MAD SHOW This event calls for creativity and use of imagination. Participant with the most innovative idea and presence of mind would steal the show.

RULES FOR THE EVENT: • A team should have minimum 2 and maximum 4 participants • There would be 2 rounds • Round 1- each team needs to get their own advertisement which should not be more than 4 minutes • Only 6 teams would be selected from Round 1 • Round 2- each time would be given a product and they will have to advertise it in maximum of 5 minutes

REGISTRATION FEES: RS. 100

CASE STUDY

This event calls for use of mental application. Participants would be required to apply their mental strength and decision making skills.

RULES FOR THE EVENT:

• A team can have maximum 2 participants • Case study would be same for all teams but different questions would be asked • Each team would get 15 minutes to go through the case study

MARKETING PLAN This event requires participants to come up with an innovative and feasible marketing plan for a product or service.

RULES FOR THE EVENT:

• A team can have maximum 3 participants • All the teams need to present their ideas in the form of a Presentation • Time limit- 8 minutes

REGISTRATION FEES: RS. 100

KABADI BAZAAR Attracting customers is the most difficult task a business has to do. Participant would be required to use their skills of making a pitch to the market. Making best out of waste is the USP of this event.

RULES FOR THE EVENT:

• Only Individual participation is allowed • Participant would be given a waste product which they need to modify and sell to customers • Time limit to prepare- 1 minute and to present would be 2 minutes.

The best out of all, would be declared as the winner

MASTER OF MARKET Call for entrepreneurs! This event needs participants to use their entrepreneurship skills to sell goods or something which can be bought and sold later in the end.

RULES FOR THE EVENT:

• A team can have maximum 5 participants • Only the stall would be provided, rest needs to be arranged by the participants • Profits would be divided equally

REGISTRATION FEES: RS. 100

MARKETING LUDO

Our favourite childhood game, Ludo will get alive when instead of plastic tokens we would have humans to play it.

RULES FOR THE EVENT:

• A team should have 2 participants • One person would roll the dice while other would walk clockwise accordingly • Game would open only with number 1 or 6 • The path would be filled with questions of Management • Team crossing the finish line the first would be the winner
