    WALK IN INTERVIEW

    Applications are invited on plain paper giving detailed bio-data for three posts of Junior Research

    Fellow (JRF)under Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi sponsored three multi-institutional

    major research projects at the School of Life Sciences, NMU, Jalgaon as per the details given below.

    The posts are purely temporary and the selected candidates will be appointed for the duration of the

    project mentioned below. Emoluments will be as per the allowed in the sanctioned project. The

    project details are as follows:

    Post 1 (JRF):Project title:Bioprocess development and application of laccase from Basidiomycota

    sp. Principal Investigator: Dr. B.L. Chaudhari, Duration: June 2014 to May 2017, Essential

    qualification: M.Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry) degree with 55% marks and

    qualified NET.

    Post 2 (JRF): Project title: Bioremediation of salt affected soils using halotolerant PGPR and

    cyanobacterial inoculants Principal Investigator: Dr. P.R. Puranik, Duration: up to Dec 2016,

    Essential qualification: M.Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry) degree with 55%

    marks and qualified NET (JRF). Candidate with experience in cyanobacteriology would be given

    preference.

    Post 3 (JRF):Project title:Studies on interaction of alpha-amylase inhibitor with insect amylase

    Principal Investigator: Prof. V.L. Maheshwari, Duration: up to August 2015, Essential

    qualification:M.Sc./ M.Tech in Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Biochemistry with first class and NET

    (JRF) / GATE qualified. Candidate with experience in protein purification/ enzyme biochemistry

    would be given preference.

    In case of non-availability or unsuitability of NET (JRF)/GATE qualified candidates a non-NET/

    GATE qualified candidate with first class at Post Graduation Degreewill be recruited as Project

    Fellow.

    Suitable interested candidates fulfilling the minimum qualification are requested to appear for Walk-

    in Interview along with application and the relevant documents on Wednesday, 20/08/2014, 11.00

    am at the Office of the Director, School of Life Sciences, North Maharashtra University,

    Jalgaon.No T.A./D.A. will be paid for attending the interview.
