Here is my latest newsletter from the field in Haiti. It is crazy to think that I have lived here for two years. I truly believe, the best is yet to come!

  • Haiti: 2 Years of Memories

    Nothing Without You

When I look back on the past two years of my life, my mind is flooded

with a mix of emotions. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever imag-

ined that my life would have turned out the way that it has and that I would

    wake up everyday filled with such joy and peace living in a foreign country;

one that is not so foreign any more. I consider myself lucky to get to live this

life with the people I do. Each day is filled with challenges as well as unex-

plainable victories. I would have never thought that I would find such pur-

pose and sense of adventure as I have these past two years at Danitas Chil-

dren. My first two years have come and gone so fast and I have so many

memories that will last me a lifetime. But this would all be nothing with out

you! With out your prayers and your support, this adventure that I call my

life would be nothing but a dream locked inside. I cannot explain how much

your support means to me. As I look forward to all that the future holds, and

as I continue to serve in Haiti, I ask that you would continue to live this ad-

venture with me, through your prayers and support.

  • Haiti: 2 Years of Memories

    Unforgettable Moments

Climbing 7.7 Kilometers to the top of a moun-

tain in Cap Haitian to see a military fortress

Witnessing children getting a new chance at life

and the effect a loving environment has on the

    outcome of their lives.

Coaching our boys volleyball team to two victo-

ries and seeing how sports can give a child hope

    for a brighter future.

Becoming a house parent to 13 boys is an adventure

and I love coming home to them at the end of each

    day.

Pouring into the boys lives and watching as they

learn to trust God and themselves. Building

    relationship that last forever.

  • One thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching

forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal

for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

    ~ Philippians 3:13-14
