The city was built between four and five thousand years ago, and lasted until 3,700 BP. The city had at least 35,000 residents.

The Great Bath at Moenjodaro. It was discovered during 1925-26. The Great Bath measures 11.88 meters x 7.01 meters, and has a maximum depth of 2.43 meters. It is located in the well-preserved northern part of Mohenjo-

daro's western mound.

The planned city of Mohenjo-daro had drains that were lined with bricks and manholes to facilitate cleaning on a regular basis.

A small well inside private building. Wells were made with wedge shaped bricks to make a strong circular structure. Some bricks were made with special grooves

to keep the ropes from sliding sideways when drawing water.
