Workshop on Flow Cytometry Basics 2 Days/3 Hands-on Sessions
7ᵗ-8ᵗ & 10ᵗ-11ᵗ March, 2015
low cytometer’s ability to simultaneously measure and
Fanalyze multiple physical characteristics of single
particles, is one of the significant features enabling its
current widespread use in both research and clinical seings.
With flow cytometry, researchers can analyse cells from different
origins- plants, animals and microbes; finding applications in the
study of apoptosis, characterisation of heterogeneity,
immunophenotyping, functional studies, DNA content, ploidy
analysis, and others. Considering the need for well-trained
employees and research groups in corporates and academic
institutes alike, we at Stellixir Biotech Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration
with Cytometry Solutions Pvt. Ltd., offer training programs and
workshops in flow cytometry, ranging from basic to advanced
modules. Our experts have years of experience in conducting
advanced flow cytometry-based research and workshops, with a
proven track record in the field.
The module ‘Flow Basics’ is intended for beginners and/or
students with limited experience in flow cytometry. It will give
you a solid foundation in the flow cytometry basics, with clear
understanding of the principles underlying the technology. It
will give you an overview of various applications of flow, and
helps you develop project ideas involving flow cytometry. Three
practical sessions are included.
