2017 4-H Fair General Informaton
The fair will be held on September 7-10, 2017 at The Show Place Arena-Equestrian, 14900 Pennsylvania Avenue, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
Parking is free! This year's 2017 Fair-At-A-Glance booklet has been redesigned to accommodate our youth
and adults to experience a fun and exciting memorable fair! Each day event(s) provides the description of what is scheduled to take place and how we
will accomplish our goals.
We need volunteers for all days who can assist with tasks such as, setup, unloading, registration, 4-H indoor exhibits, entries hanging, 4-H special events, and breakdown.
Volunteers/Judges can register at: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090c4ea8a72dabf94-2016.
It provides the dates, times, events and how many judges/volunteers will be needed throughout the scheduled fair week. The 4-H Youth Development Program has volunteer
opportunities for both youth (ages 12 and up) and adults. This is a great opportunity to earn student service learning hours towards graduation and adult volunteers can make a huge
impact in the lives of local youth.
The Prince George’s County Premium Fair book is available online on the Prince George’s County Extension 4-H web page and the Fair Association website. To access fair tags, &
exhibitor entry sheets electronically, please visit the County Fair website address: www.countyfair.org or 4-H Extension website address: http://extension.umd.edu/prince-
georges-county/4-h-youth-development/fairs-4-hers If you any questions or concerns, please contact the
4-H Office at 301-868-9636.
