William Moutloatse | CEO

BComm

University of the Western Cape, South Africa

William started working for FNB in 1993 as an executive trainee and was trained in all

aspects of banking. In 1994 he moved to First National Trust Cape Town where he gained

experience in trust administration as well as the administration of private client accounts. In

September 1995 he transferred to the portfolio management department in Johannesburg where he worked

as a portfolio advisor. In September 1996 William moved to SCMB where he started as an assistant portfolio

manager working with some of the biggest institutional clients in South Africa. He joined the Transnet Pension

Fund in August 2000 as senior manager responsible for equities, bonds and alternative investments. William

joined Novare® in April 2007 as an executive director in the Johannesburg office. In July 2012 he was

appointed CEO of Novare® Actuaries and Consultants. He has 19 years‟ experience in the industry.

William is an executive director on the board of directors for Novare® Holdings.

Leo Vermeulen | Head of Operations

After completing his Honours degree in 1994, Leo started his career at Metropolitan Life in

the pension‟s actuarial department where he was involved with defined benefit pension

fund valuations as well as benefit, risk and reinsurance benefit calculations. Between

October 1999 and November 2000, he worked in the UK at City of Westminster Assurance where he gained

valuable experience in the UK pension‟s environment. Leo joined Novare® in July 2001 and is currently

responsible for the main operations of the Novare® Actuaries and Consultants division. His duties include

performance measurement, business development and formulation of client-specific investment solutions,

implementation and reporting, transition management, risk assessment and implementation of tactical asset

allocation decisions and fund management. He has 16 years‟ experience in the industry.

Tomi Kulcsar | Head of Manager Research

Tomi started his career in financial services at Innofin Management Company (now Glacier

Financial Solutions) in June 2003. In 2004 he joined the company‟s research team as an

investment analyst responsible for manager research and sales support. In 2007, he

became a senior investment analyst and subsequently developed and implemented the company‟s

investment consulting offering. He successfully managed a number of pension fund portfolios until his

departure. After a short tenure as an institutional account manager at Investment Solutions, Tomi joined

Novare® as head of manager research in January 2011. He is currently responsible for all the manager

research duties within Novare®. He is a CFA charterholder and has nine years‟ experience in the industry.

Nerique Nieuwoudt | Head of Strategy Formulation

Nerique completed her degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2009. She joined

Novare® in January 2010 as a fund manager responsible for client fund

management including asset liability matching and strategy development within the fund

consulting division. Nerique qualified as an actuary through the Actuarial Society of South Africa in December

2011 before moving into position in January 2012 as head of strategy formulation for the Actuaries and

Consultants division. She is responsible for undertaking in-depth asset liability modelling exercises to assist clients

in determining the optimal asset allocation for their portfolios. Nerique has two years‟ experience in the

industry.

Ruan Meiring | Head of Investment Administration

Since May 2006 Ruan has held various contract positions in South Africa including at Sanlam

and most recently Coronation Fund Managers. His responsibilities at Coronation included

assisting the client relationship manager and business analyst. He joined Novare® in January

2009 as risk and development manager responsible for the implementation and management of risk and

reporting systems within the fund consulting division. In July 2012 he was promoted to head of investment

administration. He has six years‟ experience in the industry.

Lefu Linake | Fund Manager

Lefu‟s career began in 1998 as a teacher at Molapo High School before joining the

University of Cape Town as research assistant. Lefu gained valuable experience at

Metropolitan Asset Managers where she was employed from June 2004 as a portfolio

implementer responsible for aligning client portfolios with the model portfolio and implementing investment

decisions on behalf of portfolio managers. She was also involved in management reporting. Lefu joined

Novare® in July 2006 as a fund manager and is responsible for client fund management and relations. She is

currently studying towards her CFA charterholder designation and is a CAIA charterholder. Lefu is based in

Johannesburg, she has eight years‟ experience in the industry.

Sandile Soga | Fund Manager

Sandile‟s career started in 2005 with PRASA as a graduate project management officer

assisting the internal project managers with the preparation, monitoring and management

of the 2010 Soccer World Cup rail projects. In January 2008, Sandile moved to Simeka Consultants and

Actuaries as the technical investment analyst. Here Sandile provided technical support and contributions to

the asset consulting team in the lines of investment portfolio analysis, strategy development, reports

preparations and investment presentations, corresponding with both internal and external stakeholders. From

June 2009 to June 2012, Sandile worked for Momentum Asset Consulting and Momentum Manager of

Managers in capacity as investment (client services) consultant responsible primarily for the implementation of

the delivery of established processes according to the business strategy, as well as being heavily involved on

the business development front. In July 2012, Sandile joined Liberty Corporate as their investment marketing

consultant for a short period before taking up the position of fund manager for Novare® Actuaries and

Consultants in September 2012, where he will be responsible for fund management as well as client relations

and servicing. Sandile has seven years‟ experience in the industry.

Yolè Ras| Fund Manager

Yolè started her career in financial services as accounts clerk for Immelman Ferreira

Incorporated in 2007 before moving to Jacques Malan Consultants and Actuaries as

investment specialist, where she has spent the past 4 years. During this time, she also

taught advanced mathematics on a part-time basis. Yolè is well versed in managing client relations, including

client investment policies and portfolio compliance. Yolè joined Novare® Actuaries and Consultants in

October 2012 in capacity as fund manager, working on the client relations and management front as well as

assisting the manager research team. She has five years‟ experience in the industry.

Nosibusiso Ndungane | Fund Manager

Nosibusiso started her career at ABSA bank as a learner banker in 2006 after graduating

from the University of Port Elizabeth. She was then appointed as a business analyst in the

bank‟s small business unit. Her responsibilities included analytical and administrative duties

from which she gained extensive experience in analysing business and personal client portfolios. Nosibusiso

joined Novare® in September 2008 as an investment analyst and is a member of the manager research due

diligence team, with primary responsibilities in quantitative and qualitative reporting. She has six years‟

experience in the industry.

Samantha Adams | Fund Administrator

Samantha started her career in 2002 as a secretary for Bell‟s Security Services before

spending time at AMT Placement Services. She joined Novare® in January 2003 as a

secretary and in 2006 moved to the fund administration division. She is responsible for

client reporting and pricing within the fund consulting division. Samantha completed her BComm degree in

2010 at the University of the Western Cape. She has nine years‟ experience in the industry.

Nuraan Desai | Fund Administrator

Nuraan started her career in 1994 in the secretarial field. In 1998 she joined Absa Trust and

Investment Services as a personal assistant in the sales department. In 2000 she moved

within Absa to the fund managers‟ division and in 2004 to the IT support division as an

administrative assistant. Subsequently she became a wealth support officer in the Absa

Private Bank Family Office. She joined Novare® in April 2008 as a fund administrator and is

responsible for client reporting and pricing within the fund consulting division. Nuraan has 14 years‟

Marius Kilian | CEO

Marius is a qualified attorney, having graduated from the University of the Free State in

South Africa. In 1996 Marius joined Old Mutual as a legal advisor. In 1999, Marius joined

Citadel Investment Services as a portfolio planner focusing on the structuring and implementation of

investment solutions for private clients. He later moved to their fiduciary and tax department. Marius joined

TriAlpha Asset Management (London based Asset Manager) in 2001, where he headed up their South African

operations. In 2003 Marius joined RMB Private Bank, where he spent eight years, starting as a divisional

manager mandated to set up a banking centre in the Northern Peninsula of Cape Town. After two years

Marius was promoted to the executive committee of RMB Private Bank. He was responsible for creating a

service offering for clients at the top end of the Private bank‟s client segmentation. During this period Marius

was instrumental in creating a full service private advisory offering that included specialised lending, wealth

management, and transactional banking teams. Marius joined Novare® in March 2011 as CEO, of Novare®

Investments and has 17 years‟ experience in the industry.

Francois Cilliers | Chief Investment Officer

Francois began his career in 1999 at Equinox Fund Management and in 2002 he joined

Pioneer Alternative Investments (UK) working on their fund of hedge fund portfolios. In 2005

he joined Barclays Capital (UK) as manager, where he was responsible for the risk management and due

diligence of Barclays Capital‟s global fund of hedge funds‟ portfolios within their fund-linked derivatives

division. Francois gained valuable experience overseeing all aspects of the daily fund management of

external and international mutual funds, hedge funds and fund of funds. He joined Novare® in July 2008 as

Portfolio Manager and in 2011 was appointed as CIO of Novare® Investments. Francois is a CFA charterholder,

CAIA charterholder and has completed the SA and UK Registered Persons Exams. He has 13 years‟ experience

in the industry.

Carla de Waal | Head of Funds of Hedge Funds

Carla joined Novare® in 2002 after completing her BComm (Actuarial Science) degree at

the University of Pretoria. She currently heads up the Funds of Hedge Funds division of

Novare® and has been part of the Mayibentsha® Funds of Funds team since its inception in

April 2003. Carla is also a member of the team responsible for manager research, portfolio management and

alternative investment risk management within the Novare® Group. Carla oversees the annual Novare®

Investments South African Hedge Fund Survey and regularly writes educational articles for the press. Carla is a

CFA charterholder and has nine years‟ experience in the industry.

Ronnie Retief | Head of Multi-Management

Ronnie started his career in 1994 with Sanlam Investments and joined BoE Bank in 1996 as a

bond trader, where after he gained further experience between 1999 and 2002 at PSG

Investment Bank in a similar capacity. Ronnie joined Symmetry Multi-Manager in 2003 as a

fixed interest research analyst and portfolio transition manager responsible primarily for research. He spent a

further five years at Sanlam Multi Manager International (2006 to 2011) most recently as senior portfolio

manager on both institutional as well as retail multi-manager portfolios. Ronnie gained extensive experience in

fund manager research and was part of the asset allocation team. He has an in-depth understanding of

derivative and structured products as well as SRI investments. Ronnie joined Novare® Investments in September

2011 as head of the multi-manager team. He has 18 years‟ experience in the industry.

Francois van der Merwe | Head of Macro Research

Francois joined Novare® in January 2002 after completing his degree at the University of

Stellenbosch. He is responsible for portfolio management and research at Novare‟s

Nigerian subsidiary, First Guarantee Pension Limited as well as the co-management of

Novare‟s global portfolios, and economic market research as head of the House View Policy committee. He

has gained valuable experience on both the retail and institutional side of the business during his time with

Novare®, having previously been head of manager research where he performed quantitative and qualitative

analysis on asset managers and unit trusts. Francois is a CFA charterholder and has 10 years‟ experience in the

industry.

Melissa Zeeman | Operations Manager

Melissa started her career in the investment management and funds division at KPMG Inc

where she completed her articles to qualify as a chartered accountant. During this period

Melissa gained valuable experience through statutory audits of asset managers, unit trusts,

pension and provident funds, hedge funds and property funds. Melissa joined Novare® in October 2010 as

operations manager. Her duties include all operational duties at Novare® including the hedge fund of funds,

multi-manager funds, unit trusts and offshore portfolios. Melissa is currently studying towards gaining her CFA

charterholder designation and has passed level 1. She has five years‟ experience in the industry.

Eugene Visagie | Portfolio Manager

Eugene started his career after completing his Masters in Commerce at the University of

Stellenbosch as a lecturer in the Statistics and Actuarial Sciences department, where he is

still involved on a part time basis. In 2009 he joined Novare® as risk manager and was

appointed as portfolio manager in 2012. He is a member of the Funds of Hedge Funds team where his

responsibilities include portfolio construction, manager research, risk management as well as asset allocation.

Eugene has done extensive research on African financial markets, exchange traded funds, hedge funds and

private equity funds. This has resulted in a number of published articles as well as the inaugural Novare®

Investments Investing in Africa Survey. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences and an active

participant in industry representative forums.

Otshepeng Sokhela | Portfolio Risk Manager

University of Witwatersrand, South Africa

Otshepeng completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of the Witwatersrand in

2005. She started her career at Alexander Forbes Financial Services as an actuarial analyst

and was promoted internally at the end of 2006 to senior actuarial analyst. In May of 2008

Otshepeng moved to Stanlib Asset Management in the capacity of portfolio executive, where she was

responsible for Africa and Durban support and worked closely with consultants and fund managers focusing

on Africa wide portfolios. Following a decision to relocate to Cape Town, Otshepeng joined Novare® in May

2011 as an investment analyst and was promoted to portfolio risk manager in July 2012 in the funds of hedge

funds team. She is currently studying towards a CAIA qualification and has four years‟ experience in the

industry.

Keatlaretse Makoea | Investment Analyst

Keatlaretse began her career in 2005, as an investment administrator with Old Mutual Asset

Managers. She joined Cadiz Asset Management in 2006 as a client relation manager where

she gained experience in reporting, analysing and derivative instrument knowledge.

Keatlaretse was employed by Novare® from April 2007 to April 2009 as investment analyst and was part of the

Mayibentsha® Fund of Funds team. Her passion for social corporate responsibility led her to join “Dreams

Destined to Grow” to give back to the community through her involvement in youth development. During this

period Keatlaretse gained valuable experience in strategic planning, management and co-ordination and

also improved her interpersonal skills. She re-joined Novare® in August 2010 as an investment analyst within the

multi manager, offshore and manager research divisions of the business. Keatlaretse is based in Johannesburg

and has seven years‟ experience in the industry.

Francois Botha | Investment Analyst

Francois joined Novare® as investment analyst in December 2010 after completing his

studies at the University of Stellenbosch focusing on mathematical statistics and financial risk

management. Until recently he was a part-time lecturer in Statistics and Financial Theory.

Francois completed his thesis on “Measuring South African Equity Managers‟ Skills Using Portfolio Opportunity

Distributions” for which he received his Master‟s degree. During this period he conducted research into

innovative new methodologies for identifying and isolating manager and fund performance longevity.

Francois is an active member of the manager research team and assists with the due diligence of Novare‟s

local as well as international fund offerings, as well as with multi-manager portfolio management and quants

reporting.

Marina Rogers-Adendorff | Senior Operational Analyst

After completing her degree at Stellenbosch, Marina started her career at Sanlam as a

client service assistant. She joined Tasc Administration in 1997 as a portfolio administrator

and later as senior pricing administrator. In 2003 she was appointed operations manager in

charge of the bank reconciliation department. She joined Novare® in May 2005 and is responsible for client

reporting and pricing on the Mayibentsha® Fund of Funds, the multi-manager and global portfolios. Marina has

15 years‟ experience in the industry.

Noma Ntlemeza | Fund Administrator

Noma spent five years with the Cape Metropolitan Council as an administrative assistant,

after which she joined Old Mutual as a fund accountant in September 2000. She joined

Novare® in September 2004 as a fund administrator responsible for the pricing of the

Mayibentsha® Fund of Funds and the multi-manager portfolios. She has 11 years‟ experience in the industry.

Derrick Roper | CEO

Derrick Roper is a qualified actuary, having graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in

South Africa as well as being a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in England. Before joining

Novare® he worked for a number of large financial services companies in South Africa

including Sanlam and Gensec Asset Management. He spent some time in the United Kingdom where he

gained experience in investment product development for the pension fund market. Derrick co-founded

Novare® in October 2000. He is also a regular commentator on fund industry topics in financial media and has

addressed numerous conferences across the globe. As CEO of Novare® Equity Partners, his areas of particular

expertise include asset-liability matching, strategic asset allocation, as well as alternative investments and

private equity in Southern and Sub-Saharan Africa. He has 20 years‟ experience in the industry.

Derrick is an executive director on the board of directors for Novare® Holdings.

Deon Bruwer | Head of African Property

Open University Business School, UK

Deon began his career in civil engineering in 1995 in the United Kingdom. Before joining

Novare® he worked for a number of large international companies in South Africa, UK,

Poland and Nigeria in capacity as project manager or business development manager.

Since 2005 he has been involved in large scale property developments on the African continent including with

Shoprite Checkers (Pty) Ltd (Properties). Deon joined Novare® in December 2009 and is responsible for

identifying and closing viable property investment opportunities in Africa, as well as being development

manager of the Grand Towers Africa Property Fund. Deon has more than 17 years‟ experience in business

development and project management and travels frequently into Africa to identify and manage property

developments. Deon is a board member of South Africa‟s Nigeria Chamber of Commerce as well as a

founding member of The Real Estate Board of Nigeria.

Pierre Groenewald | Chief Investment Officer

Pierre started his career doing his articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers before being

promoted to manager of the Paarl branch. He spent time in the UK from 2001 to 2004

working for Credit Suisse First Boston where he gained valuable international experience in

risk management, asset valuation and the accounting of proprietary and market-making portfolios. Pierre

joined Novare® in 2005 as a member of the teams managing the Mayibentsha® Fund of Funds and the multi-

manager portfolios responsible for operational due diligence and the structuring of existing and new products.

He is still actively involved on the Mayibentsha® Fund of Funds Investment Committee. His current duties also

include operations and financial structuring of the underlying investments of the Grand Towers Africa Fund.

Pierre is a CFA charterholder and has 12 years‟ experience in the industry.

Elzaan Kotze | Chief Financial Officer

Elzaan started her accounting career at Rademeyer Wesson where she completed her

articles in 2002. In 2003 she was offered the position of finance manager for ABSA Private

Bank Family Office. Her duties included assisting high net worth clients with regards to their

assets and she dealt with all aspects of accountancy, financial management and taxes. Elzaan joined

Novare® in July 2006. She was financial director of the group responsible for the overall financial

management. Elzaan moved over to Novare® Equity Partners in June 2012 as chief financial officer. She is

responsible for the day to day financial operations of the company and the underlying investments. She has 12

years‟ experience in the industry.

Zandisile Mabuya | Senior Investment Analyst

Zandisile‟s career began in 2001 working as data capturer for Nedcor‟s American Express

Division as well as teaching accountancy at Verney College. In 2003, he moved to Profile

Media as corporate researcher compiling fundamental research data on JSE listed

companies before joining Brait Specialised Funds in 2005 as a trainee research analyst working with one of the

Brait hedge funds. Zandisile joined BJM Securities as an equity sales trader later that year. Since 2007, Zandisile

has been with Legae Securities in capacity as equity investment research analyst initiating research coverage

on companies that operate in the telecommunications and food producing sectors. He joins Novare® Equity

Partners in April 2012 as Senior Investment Analyst responsible for conducting research on potential investment

opportunities. He is a CFA candidate and is currently studying towards his charterholdership - Zandisile has 10

years‟ experience in the industry.

Pieter de Wet | Head of Research

Pieter started his career in 2007 working as an index manager and analyst for FTSE in the

United Kingdom. His main responsibilities included Asian Pacific as well as worldwide indices.

Towards the end of 2008, he joined Novare® as investment analyst. Pieter was involved in the

manager research team as well as Novare‟s global funds. In 2010 he joined First Guarantee Pensions in Nigeria,

an affiliated company of Novare® where he worked as research analyst on their range of products before

migrating back into the Novare® Equity Partner division in 2011 as head of research, his primary area of interest.

Pieter is currently studying towards his MBA at the University of Stellenbosch Business School, he has 5 years‟


Craig Lyons | Chairman of Investment Committee

BComm (Economics) | Post Graduate in Finance and Economics (Oxford)

Craig worked for Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank (Corporate Finance and Private

Equity) for 5 years prior to joining Mvelaphanda Holdings in 1999. He is a co-founder and

CEO of Mvelaphanda Strategic Investments (Pty) Ltd in 2001. As CEO, he was responsible for

building and managing its investment portfolio of non-mining assets. He built Mvelaphanda into one of the

leading BEE investment houses in South Africa. Shortly after the merger with Rebserve he left Mvelaphanda

Group to pursue personal interests before re-joining the company in September 2007. He is an investment

banker with 18 years‟ experience in investment banking and private equity fund management. He sits on the

boards of various listed and private companies in Southern Africa and is actively engaged in private equity

investments. He was on the board of Broll Property Company for 4 years and ApexHi Properties for 3 years. He

is currently the chairman of the investment committee within Novare® Equity Partners.

John MacKinnon | Business Development Manager

John‟s early career in varied part-time agricultural ventures included farming in Scotland, the USA and South

Africa as well as trading on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and SAFEX. John founded and acted as

managing director of IMPEX Treasury Solutions Pty (Ltd) for 6 years where his responsibilities included, amongst

others, Forex risk management for importers and exporters, pension fund managers and private individuals.

Since January 2011, John has been involved on a full time basis with Novare® Equity Partners on the African

development front, seeing his expertise being utilised in the development of retail malls and the management

of pension funds in Nigeria, as well as in new business ventures.

Johan Henn | CEO

Johan started his career in financial services in 1984 at Volkskas Bank. In 1988 he moved to

the National Manpower Commission as an economist where he was responsible for

economic research on inflation, economic growth, unemployment and other macro-

economic variables. In 1989 Johan joined the Development Bank of Southern Africa as a senior project leader

where his key duties involved the appraisal and financing of urban development investment projects in

Southern Africa. In 1994 he joined Sanlam Asset Management, which later became Gensec Asset

Management where he gained experience as senior fund manager and head of business development, and

as manager of the investment portfolios of large pension and provident funds. Given his in-depth insight into

financial markets, Johan‟s particular strengths lie in structuring innovative solutions for clients. He is one of the

co-founders of Novare® and the CEO of Novare® Holdings. He is also is a member of the Economic Society of

South Africa. He has 28 years‟ experience in the financial services industry, 18 of which have been within the

asset management industry.

Johan is an executive director on the board of directors for Novare® Holdings.

Lulamile Makasi | Head of Business Development

Lulamile started his career in the Woolworths‟ Financial Services Risk Department where he

worked as a data analyst for Woolworths Card, Unit Trust and Credit Card customers. He

spent four years in investments at Momentum and Metropolitan before joining Novare® in

2003 with the primary responsibility of client consulting. He left Novare® in May 2005 to join Stanlib in

Johannesburg where he was responsible for marketing and strategizing on the retail money market fund.

Based in Johannesburg, Lulamile re-joined Novare® in May 2006 and is responsible for new business for the

entire range of Novare® services. He has 13 years‟ experience in the industry.

Marina van Til | Head of Marketing

Marina started her career in financial services as business development manager for

Mercantile Professional Banking where she spent five years focusing on the private bank

lending market. In 1999 she joined Coronation Fund Managers as an account manager in

and direct marketing and communications capabilities and strategies to support business

growth for the Novare® Group as well as for all its business units. She is also responsible for coordinating the

overall direction and management of marketing, brand and event management, media communication as

well as external and internal corporate communication. In addition she assists with business development on

the Mayibentsha® Fund of Funds. She has 17 years‟ experience in the industry.

Christo Fourie | Head of Information Technology

Christo has gained extensive information‟s technology experience working in the field since

1999, where he started as a Y2K technician for Sanlam. He has subsequently worked for a

range of companies, including freelancing for Quattro Asset Management where he

handled the design and updates of websites, as well as The Foschini Group on the POS

development front. From 2006 until now he has honed his expertise as network

administrator/ technical team leader for IDS Alternate Fund Services. Christo joined Novare® Holdings as head

of information technology in May 2011, where he manages all IT related services required by the company.

Christo has completed various courses some of which include: MCSE (NT4) at the Bellville ITT Centre, and Web

Design; I-net+ at Netscope Training.

Aurial Jordaan | Compliance Officer

LLB (Tax) | Certificate in Compliance Management

University of the Western Cape, South Africa

Aurial started her career in 2000 at Old Mutual as a legal advisor for Investment Frontiers

and Fairbairn Capital. Her duties included providing legal and technical support to staff

and assisting with various legal projects. In 2004 Aurial moved to Old Mutual‟s Celestis

Broker Services and Masthead Association as compliance officer where she was responsible for establishing

and embedding all compliance functions and reporting procedures. Aurial has extensive experience in

identifying compliance processes in order to achieve the goals set out in various pieces of legislation. She

joined Novare® in November 2007 and is responsible for all of the compliance functions of the Novare® Group.

Aurial is a member of the Compliance Institute of South Africa and has four years‟ experience as a legal

advisor and eight years‟ as compliance officer.

Nancy Hoepner | Marketing Coordinator

BA (Hons)

University of Cape Town, South Africa

Nancy started her career as a freelancer in 2006 working predominantly for educational

publications and in the wedding and events industry. She successfully designed and

coordinated over 20 weddings between 2006 and 2008 and was featured in the October

2009 issue of Destiny magazine for her work in this regard. Nancy permanently joined ECHO Events and

Conferences in August 2007 as Senior Project Manager, managing client portfolios such as Emirates Airlines,

Cadiz Financial Holdings and De Beers Marine. In June 2009 she joined Kalk Bay Foods as Project Manager for

the El Corte Ingles 2010 SA-Spanish Promotion, and after successful completion remained at the company as

New Product Concept Developer involving client liaising with Globus, Woolworths and Pick „n Pay. In

September 2010 she started her own business, LIV Events and Projects with Novare® as one of her clients.

Nancy joined Novare® in January 2011 as marketing coordinator assisting with the coordination of the overall

direction and management of marketing, brand and event management, media communication as well as

external and internal corporate communication.

Henk Olivier | Financial Manager

Henk started his accounting career at Rademeyer Wesson where he completed his articles.

In 2011 he was offered the position of audit manager where he acted in a managerial role

over multiple audit teams. In November 2011 Henk joined Raiel Group as financial

controller. He has extensive experience in auditing of the financial services sector. He joined Novare in August

2012 as financial manager responsible for the overall financial management of the Novare® group. Henk has

four years‟ experience in the industry and is a qualified chartered accountant.

Andromeda Jooste | Accountant

BAccounting | BCompt (Hons)


Andromeda obtained her BAccounting degree at the University of Stellenbosch and

continued on to complete her BCompt (Hons) at the University of South Africa. She began

her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she completed articles in 2007.

Andromeda joined Novare® in May 2008 and is responsible for all aspects of accounting and in assisting the

financial director. She is a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA).

Andromeda has eight years‟ experience in the industry.
