Guide to install Windows Operating

System with Dual Boot on Mac.

Step 1 to 6 performed on MAC OS.

Step 14 and 15 are very important where we have to

select only Disk 0 Partition 3 BOOTCAMP.

Step 28 to 33 requires to perform task on windows OS

with the MAC OS install CD/DVD.

Step 34 and 35 explaining how to boot into MAC or

Windows.

Step1. On MAC >Open Finder go to "Applications---Utilities---Boot Camp

Assistant".

Step2. Double click the Boot Camp Assistant icon. Click "Continue".

Step3. You need to decide how much of the hard disk you want to share to boot

camp Windows. You can drug the small icon between the Mac OS X and Windows

area. Then click "Partition".

Step4. The hard drive will be formatted by boot camp.

Step5. Insert Windows installation CD, and click "Start Installation"

Step6. Machine Re-starts with following screens.

Step7. Disc inserted Press any key to boot from CD as instructed.

Step8. Windows is loading files.

Step9. Windows starting screen on MAC(Same as windows start-up).

Step10. Select Language, Time and currency format, Keyboard or Input method

Click Next.

Step 14. In the below screen se lect only Disk 0 Partition 3 BOOTCAMP and click

Drive options (advanced).

Step30. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement. Click Next >

Step31. Check box Apple software Update for windows click Install.

Step33. Boot Camp Installer completed click Finish.

Step34. Booting up into Macintosh or Windows Hold down the Option key

while the system is booting, and it'll give the below screen.

Step35. Click on windows to boot windows OS click on MAC to boot Mac OS.

Quick summary:-

1. On MAC >Open Finder go to "Applications---Utilities---Boot

which comes along with the MAC. After inserting the CD the

29. Boot Camp installer starts on Windows OS Click Next >

30. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement. Click Next

31. Check box Apple software Update for windows click Install.

32. Apple software Update for windows in progress.

33. Boot Camp Installer completed click Finish.

34. Booting up into Macintosh or Windows Hold down the Option
