หลง Wh Questions (What, Where, When, Why…. ) ทงหลายจะตามดวย กรยาชวย was /were แลวตามดวย ประธาน (Subject) และอาจจะมสวนขยายหรอไมกได และถาหลง Wh Questions (What, Where, When, Why…. ) ทงหลาย ตามดวยกรยาชวย did แลวตามดวย ประธาน ( Subject )

TenseTense หมายถง กาลเวลา

Tense แบงตามกาลเวลาวาเปน ปจจบน (Present) อดต (Past) อนาคต (Future) แลว

Tense ยงมการแบงออกเปน 4 กลม ตามลกษณะการเกดเหตการณ


1. Simple Tense ใชกบเหตการณทเกดขนจรง นสย ขอมล ขอเทจจรง

2. Continuous Tense ใชกบเหตการณทกำาลงจะเกดขนในขณะนน

3. Perfect Tense ใชกบเหตการณทเกดขนในชวงระยะเวลาหนง

4. Perfect Continuous Tense ใชกบเหตการณทเกดขน และดำาเนนอยางตอเนองมาเปนระยะเวลาหนง

หลกการใช Present Simple Tense

1. ใชกบเหตการณหรอการกระทำาทเกดขนในปจจบน หรอเกดขณะทพดเชน

Ann watches television. Ron takes a bath in the bathroom.

2. ใชกบเหตการณหรอการกระทำาทเปนจรงตามธรรมชาตไมวาจะเปนอดต ปจจบน หรออนาคตเชน

Tiger is a dangerous animal. The earth moves around the sun.

3. ใชกบเหตการณหรอการกระทำาทเกดขนบอยๆซำาๆจนเปนกจวตรประจำาวนหรอประจำาเดอน

1. I drink water every day. 2. You drink water every day. 3. We drink water every day. 4. They drink water every day. 5. He drinks water every day.


6. She drinks water every day. 7. It drinks water every day. จะสงเกตเหนวาในขอ 5 - 6 - 7 คำากรยา drink เตม s ลองเดาซคะวาเพราะอะไรบางคนกตอบถกคะวาเพราะประธานเปนเอกพจนบรษท 3 คอ He She และ It คะ ตองจำาใหไดนะคะ

กฎการเตม s หรอ es หลงคำากรยา

1. คำากรยาธรรมดาทวๆไปเตม S ไดทนท เชนคำาวา work - works , live - lives 2. คำากรยาทลงทายดวย s , ss , sh , ch , x และ o ใหเตม es เชน go - goes , watch - watches , catch - catches

3. คำากรยาทลงทายดวย y ใหเปลยน y เปน I แลวเตม es เชน cry - cries, study - studiesPresent Simple Tense ในรปประโยคบอกเลา

ประโยคบอกเลา หมายถงประโยคทพดหรอเลาเร องราวตางๆใหฟง เชน ฉนดมนำาทกๆวน ในภาษาองกฤษรปกรยาทใชต องเปนชองท 1 ( V .1 ) ถาประธานเปนเอกพจนกรยาตองเตม s หรอ es สวนประธานพหพจน ( รวมทง I และ You ) กรยาไมตองเตมใหคงรปเดม

ถาในประโยคบอกเลานนมเพยงกรยาแท เมอตองการเปลยนใหเปนปฏเสธใหนำา Verb to do ( do not , does not ) วางไวหลงประธานมรปแบบดงน

ขอสงเกต

1. เมอใช does not ( doesn ' t ) กบประธานเอกพจน ค ำากรยาทเตม s หรอ es ใหตด s หรอ es ทงและคงเหลอคำากรยาชองท 1 ซงไมตองเตมอะไรทงสน

2. สวน do not ( don 't )ใชกบประธานพหพจนคำากรยาใหคงเดมไมตองเปลยนแปลงใดๆ

Present Simple Tense ในรปประโยคคำาถาม


ประโยค Present Simple Tense ทม Verb to be เมอทำาเปนคำาถามใหนำา Verb to be มาวางไวหนาประธาน แตถาประโยคนนๆไมม Verb to be ใหใช Verb to do ( do , does ) วางไวหนาประธาน

ขอสงเกต

1.การใช Verb to do ในประโยคคำาถามเมอใช Does กบประธานเอกพจนใหตด s หรอ es ขางหลงคำากยาทงและคงไวแตคำากรยาแท ( V.1)

2.แตถาใช Do กบประธานพหพจนคำากรยาคงเดมไมเปลยนแปลง


หลกการใช Present Continuous Tense

ใชกบเหตการณหรอการกระทำาท กำาลงดำาเนนอยในขณะทพด ตอเนองไปเร อยๆและจบในอนาคต โดยอาจจะใช Adverbs of Time (คำากรยาวเศษณบอกเวลา) บางคำา เชน now, at the moment, right now, at present, these days เปนตน เขามาชวยในประโยคดวย เชน

She is going to the supermarket at the moment.

(หลอนกำาลงไปซปเปอรมารเกตอยตอนน)

ใชเพอพดถงเหตการณหรอการกระทำาท กำาลงจะเกดขนในอนาคตอนใกล เชน

I am meeting my boss this evening. (ฉนจะพบกบเจานายเยนน)

ใชแสดงเหตการณหรอการกระทำาท ผพดมนใจวาจะเกดขนในอนาคตอยางแนนอน เชน

He is going to China tonight. (เขาจะเดนทางไปยงประเทศจนคนน)


กรยาบางตวไมสามารถใชในรปของ Present Continuous Tense ได ถงแมวาเหตการณนนจะกำาลงเกดขน หรอ ดำาเนนอยกตาม โดยเรามกใชในรปของ Present Simple Tense กบคำากรยากลมนแทน ซง ไดแก

4.1) กรยาทแสดงถงประสาทสมผสทงหา เชน see, hear, feel, taste, smellI smell something bad. (ถก)

* I am smelling something bad. (ผด)

4.2) กรยาทแสดงความนกคด ความรสก เชน know, understand, think, believe, agree, notice, doubt, suppose, forget, remember, consider, recognize, appreciate, forgiveI believe her. (ถก)

* I am believing her. (ผด)

4.3) กรยาทแสดงความชอบและความไมชอบ เชน like, dislike, love, hate, prefer, trust, detestHe likes a woman with long hair. (ถก)

* He is liking a woman with long hair. (ผด)

4.4) กรยาทแสดงความปรารถนา เชน wish, want, desire, prefer

I want to get married. (ถก)

* I am wanting to get married. (ผด)

4.5) กรยาทแสดงความเปนเจาของ เชน possess, have, own, belong

รปแบบของ Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Subject + has/have + been + V.-ing

ใชกบเหตการณท เกดขนในอดตตอเนองมายงปจจบน และยงคงดำาเนนตอไปอกในอนาคต โดยใชกบคำาวา since และ for เชน

She has been sitting here for an hour.(เธอนงอยตรงนมาเปนเวลาชวโมงหนงแลว)


คำากรยาทใชกบ Present Perfect Continuous Tense นน จะตองเปนคำากรยาทแสดงถงความตอเนอง หรอ กรยาทแสดงถงการกระท ำาท นาน (long action) เท าน น เช น play, look, watch, learn, live, wait, eat และอนๆ โดยไมสามารถใชกบกรยาทไมแสดงถงความตอเนอง หรอ กรยาทแสดงถงการกระทำาทจบในทนทได เชน stop, prefer, arrive เปนตน เชน

I have been playing games since afternoon.(ฉนเลนเกมสมาตงแตตอนบาย)

Present Perfect Continuous Tense อาจนำามาใชไดกบเหตการณท สนสดลงแลว แตสงผลมายงปจจบน เชน

You look tired. Have you been sleeping properly?(คณดเหนอยจง คณไดนอนหลบมาเพยงพอหรอเปลา)

ปจจบน และมแนวโนนทจะดำาเนนตอไปไดอกในอนาคต เชน


I have had a lot of toys.

ฉนมของเลนมากมาย (และอาจจะมของเลนเพมขนอกในอนาคต)

ใชกบเหตการณในอดตท เกดขนและสนสดลงแลว แตยงสงผลมายงปจจบน เชน

It has stopped raining.

ฝนหยดตกแลว (แตถนนยงเปยกอย)

ใชพดถง เหตการณหรอการกระทำาทเกดขนซำาๆกน ในชวงเวลาหนงระหวางอดตและปจจบน โดยมกใชคำาวา many/several times, a lot of times, …times, again and again, over and over แ ล ะอนๆ เชน

ใชกบเหตการณท เพงสนสดลง โดยไมระบเวลา ซงมกใชกบ just, already และ yet

yet มกใชในประโยคปฏเสธ สวน just และ already นน มกจะใชกนในประโยคบอกเลา โดยวางไวอยหนากรยาหลก เชน

I haven’t finished my homework yet.

(ฉนยงทำาการบานของฉนไมเสรจเลย)

I have just finished my home work.

(ฉนเพงทำาการบานของฉนเสรจ)


I’ve already finished my homework.

(ฉนทำาการบานของฉนเสรจเรยบรอยแลว)

หากเราระบเวลาลงไป ประโยคจะตองใช Past Simple Tense เทานน ไมสามารถใช Present Perfect Tense ได เชน

I finished my homework at 7 o’clock.

(ฉนทำาการบานเสรจแลวตอนเจดโมงเชา)

ใชเพอบอกเลาถงเหตการณทเพงเกดขนเรวๆ น ซงมกใชกบ just, recently, lately และอนๆ

The meeting has just started.

ใชกบ since (ตงแต) และ for (เปนเวลา)

I have been here since I was about 15 years old.

ใชแสดงถงการกระทำาทเปนนสยหรอเกดขนเปนประจำาในอดต ซงสน

สดลงแลว โดยมกม Adverbs of Frequency (กรยาวเศษณแสดงความถ) อยในประโยคดวย เชน often, always, sometimes และอนๆ ซงมกจะม Adverb of Time (กรยาวเศษณแสดงเวลา) ระบถงเวลาในอดตดวย เชน last month, last year และอนๆ เชน

I cooked every night last month. (ฉนทำาอาหารทกคนเมอเดอนทแลว)

He always cried when he was young. (เขารองไหเปนประจำา ตอนเขายงเดก)

เราสามารถใช "used to + Verb 1" เพอใหความหมายวา "เคย"

เพอแสดงถงการกระทำาในอดตได เชนI used to eat a lot. (ฉนเคยกนเยอะมากอน)
