Hiroshima is a historically important and the largest million city in the Chugoku region of Japan. Hiroshima is known for its scenic beauty, year-round warmth, proximity to the sea and mountains, and delicious foods.

The International Conference Center Hiroshima, in the center of Hiroshima City, is located in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, designed by world-famous architect Kenzo Tange.

This conference hall is connected to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum Main Building, which is visited by many people from all over the world, by an aerial corridor.

This conference is organized by the Cellulose Society of Japan. The Cellulose Society of Japan will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2023 from the establishment of its predecessor organization. Since 2002, we have been hosting international conferences every five years, and this is the fifth time.
