Combining incredible power and fast racquet handling for the first time, VOLTRIC is the ‘all-round’ racquet to take your game to a whole new level.

The stiff racquet structure at the top of the frame allows the head to bend in a very controlled way and hold shuttles on the string bed for longer. The thin frame sides then allow the frame to flex more and transfer more energy to the shuttle. This combination allows you to smash with instant power.

Voltric is Power

In VOLTRIC, the weight is balanced on the top of the frame and at the joint area which allows good handling while also maintaining power. The thin sides of the frame and at the top of the head reduce air resistance and improve the handling even further. Players can now make a full swing even during short range rallies as VOLTRIC responds instantly to even subtle movements.

Traditionally, extra weight at the top of the racquet frame has increased hitting power but reduced the speed of racquet handling. In contrast, a lighter top to the frame increases speed but causes a loss of hitting power.

For the first time, the new TRI-VOLTAGE SYSTEM successfully combines the contrasting characteristics of exceptional power and great handling. YONEX has developed a racquet which achieves the combination of heavy smashes and speedy racquet handling.

Voltric is strong soundingAnother innovative YONEX technology, SOuND FILTER uses new materials at the two and ten o’clock positions to reduce only high pitched and dull soundwaves. This produces a louder and sharper sound on impact to unsettle opponents and provides a more aggressive tone to your game for a relentlessly attacking style of play.

Sound Filter also reduces uncomfortable sensations from the racquet by rapidly eliminating 31% of vibrations.

ISOMETRIC technology was invented by YONEX to maximise the vital sweet spot area and is now a world leading feature of our racquets. The square shaped head of the racquet means that there are more strings crossing at right angles, resulting in a bigger sweet

spot. YONEX continues to develop and enhance ISOMETRIC power, reducing still further the ‘inert’ space around the edge of conventional racquets, creating a far bigger sweet spot than other frames.

Moulded deep into the layers of graphite where the frame connects with the shaft, the YONEX Built-in T-Joint creates a durable and high-strength one-piece frame that is torque-free.

Muscle Power locates the string on rounded archways that eliminate stress-load and fatigue through contact friction. This construction creates total unity of the string and frame through closer and tighter contact.

A. In comparison to the frame of a conventional racquet, the DX Frame features a wider trench so that impact shock is reduced by distributing weight pressure over a larger area.

B. The DX Frame is also thicker and able to stretch like a spring under pressure from above. Impact shock is spread over the whole frame, preventing distortion to the structure.

TOughlEXYONEX’s new material resin - TOughlEX - on both sides of the frame offers improved flexibility, durability and dwell time. It also provides a softer feel because of its lightweight repulsion and lighter weight. Shots will clear deeper towards the back of the opponent’s court allowing much more aggressive counter-attacking play.

The built-in Solid Feel Core cuts harmful miscellaneous vibration at impact. Solid Feel Core is carried in all racquets manufactured in Japan.

Nanoair Spring in the resin binds the carbon fibres so that nanoscale air bubbles in the material help the racquet to flex and bend as in a spring. The result is a better transfer of energy from string-bed to shuttle for a more powerful hit.

Due to its unique large-frame design, the Mega Frame further enlarges the already large sweet spot provided by the ISOMETRIC. Compared with an ordinary racquet, the Mega Frame provides a 34% larger sweet spot for greater reach and more effective off-centre hits.

Feather ShuttlecocksSince 1965 YONEX has developed and manufactured shuttlecocks. YONEX shuttlecocks are steeped in tradition and widely accepted as the best in badminton. In 1981 YONEX was appointed as the official shuttlecock provider to the 9th Uber Cup. Since then YONEX has gone on to be appointed as the official provider of shuttlecocks to a number of international federations and world renowned badminton tournaments including; The All England Open Badminton Championships and BWF World and Junior Championships.

The durability and performance of each shuttlecock is the driving force behind our partnerships with many international federations and tournaments. Each shuttlecock is carefully assembled in Japan by our expert craftsmen using only the finest materials. Once assembled, each individual shuttlecock is inspected for ten different aspects in order to ensure consistency of flight trajectory, accuracy and distance in all temperatures.
