Urban life is bias towards the middle age and middle income generations. The pace and cycle of an urban environment might be one of the reason for this scenario. AND THE ROLE OF In the abyss of 21st Century, human beings have more and more becoming an urban creatures. An effect through evolution of living conditions which aligns with many factors including technology, production, supply and demand, change, to live and to adapt. Fishermans Bend precinct is visualized to meet a condition of a capital city. One might say as an extension to current CBD that is gradu-ally growing along the development of its periphery in the likes of Southbank, Docklands and few others. An urban regeneration area, to provide a new living condition with a special consideration for a more engaging and to the multi role of urbanized demographic group. Whereas most urban condition are geared towards a temporal cycle which people move in and out after a certain period of time. Fishermans Bend will allow them to stay and become sentimental to its territory. It is crucial to adopt both, the typical condition of a neighbourhood (suburbia) as well as the hustle and bustle of the city conditions (urban/city). This is the challenge that it is facing. Its experiential, sensual interaction, feeling of home rather than house, and territorial belongings are probably what would help it to achieve. Rather than dictating the whole precinct to how it would might be like, its best to provide a framework for this condition which that their habitants shall accommodate them by filling the voids, thus later made them feel themselves as part of the land. Apart from that, to give a sense of territorial markings, the urban edge would be designed and lived as threshold. These spaces translate themselves to notify as an entry, access, fence/border, and exits. Martin Heidegger described the threshold as, “a space between two worlds, a potent common or middle ground which simultaneously holds, joins and separates two worlds. Thresholds are sacred places which form a bound¬ary between what is ‘here’ and what is ‘there’, but they are in themselves neither here or there.” The treshold of Fishermans Bend would provide an intangible connnection for the people with its architecture and environment.
