My mom, Judy Lewis
Copeland, is the greatest
mom in the world. She
loves me for who I am
and treats me with
respect. My mom also is
a great cook. For
instance, her parmesan
crusted chicken is the
most delicious thing I
have ever tasted!
My mom is funny and
Mom of the year
witty and she loves to
crack jokes. We enjoy
doing things together
such as playing the Wii,
watching TV or just
hanging out.
Her occupation is a
pastor in the Lutheran
church. She has been
ordained for 20 years
and served
congregations all over
North Carolina.
My mom is a great
woman and that is why
I love her.
Keith Thomas Copeland
is my dad. While my
dad and I don’t always
agree on some things, I
know that he loves me
for who I am.
My dad is also a pastor,
serving a church in
Charlotte, Sugaw Creek
Presbyterian Church.
He is a pastor in the
Evangelical Lutheran
Daddy-O
Church in America, but
serves a Presbyterian
church.
We enjoy going out on
the boat together during
the summer and go
camping together as
well. Watching movies
together is also a
favorite pastime.
Dad is one of the most
interesting people I
know.
Lewis, my middle name,
is the name of my mom’s
family. When we all get
together, it is a ball of
fun! We enjoy spending
time together celebrating
birthdays and holidays.
Laughter is always
abundant when we gather.
The Grandparental Units
The family is headed by
my grandparents, Bill
and Sandra Lewis.
Recently they moved to
a new home in the
Columbia, South
Carolina area, Heritage
at Lowman. It is a
retirement facility
sponsored by the
Lutheran Church.
Grandmomma and
Grandaddy are kind and
compassionate to
everyone, especially
me. They have taught
me the value of family
and love that we share.
“I know he loves me
for who I am.”

The Tuten Family
consists of my mom’s
sister, Nancy, her
husband Tom and their
daughters Elizabeth and
Emily. Aunt Nancy is a
professor of English at
Columbia College and
we love to talk about
books that I have read.
Uncle Tom is in sales
for Roadway Trucking
Company and has a

great sense of humor.
Elizabeth, a 16 year old
junior in high school, is
a very talented
ballerina. This past
summer, she travelled to
New York where she
was invited to study at
the Joffrey Ballet
Company for two
weeks.
Emily is about to turn
12 and is into sports
such as softball, soccer,
and karate. Emily and I
spend a lot of time
together playing all
kinds of games such as
the Wii, putting
together puzzles and
playing outside.
I love the Tutens and I
am so proud to call
them my family.
Uncle Scott is my dad’s
brother. His family
consists of my two
cousins, Alex and Nick
and my Aunt Denise.
My uncle is currently
living in Hawaii
working for the Air
Force as a civilian. He
started working for the
Air force when he was
18. He served twenty
eight years till he
Copeland’s Corner
became a sergeant.
Then he retired, for a
year and started
working as a civilian for
the Air Force. My Aunt
Denise has been battling
cancer for a long time.
She is a great cook and I
love going to see her.
My cousin Nick and I
love to play video
games together. We
sure do have a lot of fun
doing that. Nick is
seventeen. Alexander is
twenty-one and he and I
like doing the same
things. We both like to
read and play games.
My Uncle Scotts family
is a lot of fun to go see
and some day I am
going to go to Hawaii
and See Uncle Scott.
Aloha!
I have three dogs,
Maggie, Sophie, and
Cooper. Maggie is the
oldest; I have had her
ever since I was in the
second grade. She is
gray and has poodle and
Schnauzer in her. She is
Wild Things
the smartest dog I have
ever had. Sophie and
Cooper are twins.
Sophie is black and is a
poodle-Yorkshire
Terrier mix. Sophie
loves to play and run
around the fire place.
Cooper is the same mix.
He is a little smaller
than Sophie and he is

everywhere.
My dogs are truly

why I love them.

It is funnier when you
hear it in person, but I
still think it is so funny.
I have heard many
funny throughout my
life, but the funniest
one to me is when my
dad and Uncle Scott
were fighting over a
bowl. My Dad and
Uncle Scott were
fighting over their
favorite bowl. They
were fighting way too
loud. When my
Grandfather doesn’t get
his sleep he gets
grumpy. So they were
fighting over a bowl
when a very grumpy
