Many people fi nd excuses for not investing. “I’ll do it later.” Unless you make investing a priority now, you may be forced to play “catch up” later in life. “I don’t have enough money to invest.” Start putting away even a small amount each month. “I’ll have Social Security.” Social Security only pays about 40% of an individual’s pre-retirement income, according to the Social Security Administration. “I don’t know where to begin.” If your employer off ers a 401(k) or similar retirement plan, take full advantage of it.
Don’t let excuses get in your way. With time and determination, you can overcome many of the obstacles you thought kept you from investing. Call her today to start the discussion at 734-241-3540 or 214 E Elm Ave, Ste 100, Monroe MI. . Member SIPC

GREENPATHAvoid Financial Fireworks - As summer gets underway and the July 4th holiday is in sight, GreenPath
feels it’s an appropriate time to discuss some potentially dangerous personal fi nance fi reworks you might encounter this time of year. You may have kicked off 2015 with a solid budget and plan, but, by the beginning of summer, new habits may be fading. It’s important to revisit those initial feelings of taking control of your personal fi nances and re-dedicate yourself to good, solid spending and savings habits during the rest of 2015! This summer, work on being disciplined with spending and saving and you’ll have more fun in the long run!
