The CAVE has a depth of 176 Feet and contains approx 6 miles of highly decoratedpassages and large rooms, with a vertical extent exceeding 200 feet below entrance. This cave is privately owned and falls within an area of large, relatively isolated timbertracts. An abundance of speleothems and generally dry caving. The cave is dividedinto 2 routes, the Loop route and the New Discovery section. The loop route is difficultto traverse due to numerous climbs, crawls, squeezes an steep sloping passages. Many large rooms branch off the radius of the loop, the largest being over 800 feetlong. A few massive stalagmites measure over 20 feet high and 20 feet in diameter. Afew of the largest helictites are 1 to 2 feet long. Total passage length of this area isapprox 1.5 miles. The New Discovery section was discovered in 1976 and includesapprox 2.5 miles of known passages. The largest room in this area exceeds 700 feetin length. Many of the passage branches have not been completely explored. Delicateheliotite and stalactite thickets are frequently found intermingled among tall columnsand stalagmites. Beautiful beige or white flowstones highlight many areas. Manyunusual mineral types are wide spread, such as nail head (calcite) spar, largearogonite crystals, gypsum flowers and crusts, etc. Many of these formations remainpristine due to their remote locations. (Info compiled by Bert Allen).

Property taxes for this property last year were $2,524.
