With containerised services running twice a week from Reykjavik to the UK, Scandinavia and Continental Europe, Samskip offers customers fully fledged logistics and transport services between the North Atlantic and Europe.

Multimodal NetworkSamskip offers pan-European, environmentally responsible combined transport services via shortsea, road, rail and inland waterway routes. We are committed to cost-effectiveness, operational excellence and best practice in sustainable transport.

High frequency services connect destinations across Europe, transported using a wide range of owned vessels, trains, containers, trucks and trailers. In all cases shippers can make real choices based on frequency of service, transit times, freight rates and sustainability.

Logistics and Transport ServicesWe offer professional transport and related services for importers and exporters in Iceland and the Faroe Islands such as storage, handling and documentation; leaving only the core operations to the customer.

The services include frequent sailings between the European mainland, UK, and Scandinavia, hi-tech cold storage, sophisticated warehousing solutions and a domestic transport system. In addition, chartering, project cargo and agency services are available.

Specialised EquipmentSamskip offers a wide range of modern equipment to suit the specific needs of your cargo. The fleet includes 20ft and 40ft containers as well as standard and insulated reefers.Our temperature-controlled containers are able to safely transport all chilled, cooled or frozen cargo.
