• Up to £1 million funding for this competition • Expected that successful contracts will be £25,000 to
£100,000 • Work should be completed by 30 November 2015 • Seeking proposals from UK and international
academia and industry

Exploitation
• Phase 2 will also have up to £1 million • Phase 1 proposals must include outline scope for
phase 2 • Only projects successful at phase 1 are eligible to
compete for phase 2 funding • Successful projects will be invited to stakeholder
events to support wider exploitation • Phase 2 proposal as a deliverable from phase 1
project
