Whateverthenecessitiesneededfromwomenbymen,ifonehastoponder,itwillresultincontentmentoftheheart,comfortandsatisfaction.Fromthiswegathertheprimaryreasonformarriedlifeistranquilityandpeaceoftheheart.Inwhicheverhomethisispresent,hehasinfactattainedthepurposeofhiscreationinthislife,andwhereveralackofthisoccurs,despitehavingeverythingelse,inthematrimonialsense,hewillremainunsuccessfulandwithoutpurpose.MaarifulQuranInthissocalledenlightenedandliberatedage,wehavedisgracedandreducedwomentosuchastate,whereinweareunawareoftheirrights,andwiththemisconceptionofliberationandtheguiseofreligiousfreedom,wefurtheroppressanddestroytheserightsresultingintheunhappystateoftheirpresentlivesandeventualpunishmentinthehereafter.

Theayahhasbasedthepeaceoftheheartasthepurposeofmarriageandonlywithbothpartnersknowingeachothersrightandfulfillingthem,canthisberealised.Otherwise,theargumentinthepursuitofmatrimonialrightswoulddestroythepeacesodesperatelysought.Thehusband/wiferelationshipisnotsuchascouldbemaintainedbyanyfixedrulenorimplementedbyajustcourt.OnlythefearofAllahIandthequestioninginthehereafterwouldbringaboutthefruitionofthispurpose,AllahIhasinfactblessedHisslaveswithanadditionalgiftbynotconfiningmatrimonialrightstoonlyreligiousandlegalaspectsbuthasincludedthenaturalandsensualaspectsbyfixingloveandtendernessintheirhearts;wherebythatbondmaybestrengthenedandfulfilled.AllahIsays:

AllahIwhoisMostMercifulandMostBountifulhasinthisversementionedtherightsofwomenbeforementioningmen,becauseman,bynatureofhisstrengthandGod-givensuperiority,isabletoattainandpursuehisrightsoverwomen,whereasthedilemmaofwomenisthattheyarenotbynatureabletoattaintheirrightsbywayofforce.Anotherindicationinthisayahisthatmenshould,intheirrelationtowomenregardingrights,makeiteasyforthem.Intheconclusionoftheaboveayahwhereinmentionismadethatwhoever,inoppositiontowomen,exceededthemselves,itisnotmeantbywayofrightsnorbenefitinthehereafter,butbywayofwisdom.Andinthematteroffulfillingrights,onepointofwisdomistheahadithofAbdullahBinAbbastmentionedinrelationtotheexplanationoftheaboveayah,thatmanhasbeengrantedaloftypositionbyAllahI,thereforetheyshouldexercisegreaterpatience.Ifadeficiencyoccursfromthewoman ssidethenthedemandofhispositionisthatheshouldaccommodateherandmaintainsabr(patience)andestablishconsistencyinthe

fulfillmentofhisrights.Eveninthisagemanypiousperson sactionsareinaccordancewiththis.Whateverotherbenefitsregardingthewisdomsofthisayaharementionedinnumeroustafasir(commentaries)thesummingupisthatman sbenefitcanbeattainedthroughthemeansofwomen.III)THEGREATBENEVOLENCEOFRASULULLAHr(WHOWASAMERCYUNTOMANKIND)ONHISWIVES(MAYALLAHIBEPLEASEDWITHTHEM)Rasulullahrdisplayedmuchkindnesstowomenandgreatlyraisedtheirhonour.Heshowedconcernforeverydeficiencyoftheirs,equatingminordutiesandfavoursofwomentothegreatachievementsofwarriorsinbattle.If,bythewisdomofAllahI,womenwerecreatedweakanddelicateinthephysicalsense,thenHehasputtheburdenofresponsibilityoftheirlivesonmanbymakinghimresponsiblefortheprovidingofwomen,their,necessities,andhasguidedmantodisplaytendernessandaffectionuntothem,maintainingharmonyandtolerancewiththem,andhasstronglyadmonishedmaninhiscrueltytowomen.Inconnectionwiththepartialityandappreciationtothecreationofwomen,wewillnowmention40ahadithofRasulullahr.IV)EMPHASIZINGTHERIGHTS,FAVOURANDPOSITIONOFONE SWIFE1.Jabirtrelatedthatontheoccasionofthefarewallpilgrimage(Hajjatul-Wida),onthedayofArafah,Rasulullahrsaid:O,peoplewithregardtoyourwivesfearAllahI.(AlHadith)InthisHadith,menaremadeawareoftheirresponsibilitytowomen.Theyshouldnotremainignorantoftheretributionand

6.ENTRANCETOJANNAH.ThewomanwhodieswhenherhusbandispleasedwithhershallenterJannah.ObservehoweasilyawomanmayenterJannah.7.REQUESTONSPENDINGONWIVES.ItisnarratedfromAbuDardatwhomentions,MyfriendAbulQasimrinstructedmetospendonmywifeaccordingtomycapacity.Observetheemphasisonspendingonone swife.8.TOATTAINTHESTATUSOFJIHAD.RasulullahrhasmentionedthatawomanengagedinherhouseholddutiesattainsthepositionoffightinginthepathofAllahI(Jihad).9.REWARDATTAINEDBYBRINGINGCOMFORTTOONE SWIFERasulullahrhasmentioned,toassistinyourwife shouseholdchoreswillobtainforyoutherewardofSadaqah.Look!howmuchemphasisisstressedforthegivingofcomforttoone swife!TheShariahhasmadeiteasyforustoattainJannah.10.THEOPENINGOFTHEEIGHTDOORSOFJANNAHFORWOMENRasulullahrhasmentionedthatthewomanwhoregularlyperformsherfivedailySalaahandobservesthefastinRamadhan,protectshermodesty,obeyingandfulfillingthewishesofherhusband,willenterJannahthroughwhicheverdoorshepleases.Meaningalltheeightdoorsareopenedtosuchawoman.TheexplanationissuchthatwhoeverispunctualonthenecessitiesofDeen,withminimaleffort,willattaintheranksofthoseraisedinposition.ObeyingtheFaraidhisalsoimportantandemphasized.

15.THEATTAININGOFSOMANYBLESSINGSTHATEVENTHEINHABITANTSOFTHESKYANDTHEEARTHAREUNAWARERasulullahrhassaid:OWomen!Areyousatisfied(meaningyoushouldbesatisfied)thatwheneveroneofyouisimpregnatedbyyourhusbandwhoispleasedwithyou,youreceivesuchreward,asonefastinginthepathofAllahIorremainsawakeduringthenightandwhenshebeginsherlabourthentheinhabitantsoftheskyandearthprayforthecoolnessofhereyes,i.e.meaningcomfort.Whenshegivesbirth,thennotevenonedropofhermilkisdischargednoristhechildsuckledoncefromherbreastbutforeverydroporsucklesheisrewarded,andbecauseofthechildshehastostayupatnightshegetsrewardedforfreeingseventyslavesinthepathofAllahI.OSalamah(thisisthenameofthegovernessofIbraheemu,sonofRasulullahr)doyouknow,thatwomanismeantbythis,thatdespiteherbeingpious,isconcernedforherhusband,isobedientandnotungratefultohim.16.THEREWARDOFSPENDINGFROMHERHUSBAND SEARNINGSRasulullahrsaidthatwhenawomanspendsfromherhusband swealthinthepathofAllahI,withoutdestroyinghiswealth(meaningwithpermissionanddiscretion),notspendingbeyondhispositionandallowance,thensheisrewardedonspendinghiswealthandhetooreceivesrewardonaccountofhisearningwhilstthekeeperalsoreceivesanequalreward;therewardisnotlessenedifattainedonaccountofsomeone.Note:Awomanshouldnotbeunderthemisconceptionthatshewillnotberewardedforspendingincharityfromthehusbandswealth.

26.TOCONVERSEPLEASANTLYWILLGETHERTHEREWARDOFTHEMUJAHIDApersonrelatedtoRasulullahrsaid:ORasulullahr,IhaveawifeandwheneverIgotoher,sheexclaims Welcometoyoumyhusbandandthemasterofmyhousehold.Furthermore,wheneversheobservesmeinadepressedstate,shesays:Whyareyoudepressedregardingthisworldwhentheworkofyourhereafterisbeingmade.Onhearingthis,Rasulullahrsaid:Informthisladythatshetoo,isaworkerfromtheworkersofAllahIandwillberewardedhalftherewardofthemujahid.Observetherewardsheattainedbyhermerepleasantwords.27.GLADTIDINGSTOWOMENAsmabintYazidAnsariyahynarratesthatsheaskedRasulullahr:IamtherepresentativefromthewomenandIhavebeenrequestedtoaskyouthatmenperformtheJumuah(Fridayprayer):theJamaah(congregationalprayer):visittheill;havethepleasureofsittinginyourcompany;performHajjandUmrahandprotectthebordersoftheIslamicstate,andincomparison,havesurpassedus.Rasulullahrreplied:Returnandinformthemthatyouradornmentforyourhusband spleasureandthefulfillmentofhisrightsandremaininginhispleasureandobedienceisequivalenttoalltheseactionsmentionedbyyou.28.REWARDEQUIVALENTTOGUARDINGISLAM SBORDERSRasulullahrhassaidthatwomenfromthetimeoftheirpregnancytillchildbirthanduptosucklingperiodinbenefitandrewardaresimilartothepersonguardingIslam sborders.(Whichrequiresandentailsconstantvigilancy)andifonepassesawayduringthisperiod,oneattainstherewardofashaheed.TabraninarratingfromIbnUmart.

29.RECEIVINGCONGRATULATIONSONHERSHOULDERSFROMTHEANGELSRasulullahrsaidthatthewomanwhoisbreastfeedingherchild,foreverydropsheisrewardedasifgivinglifetocreationandonthecompletionofthisperiod,iscongratulatedbytheangelsonhershouldersandtoldthatallyourprevioussinsareforgivenandwhateverisdonethereafterisregardedanew(anysinofhersthereafterwillberecordedandwhatismeantbysinhereisminorsinswhichisnotinsignificanteither).30.ONTHEDAYOFQIYAMAH,THEYWILLBERAISEDASVIRGINSAishaynarratesfromRasulullahrthatthewomanwhosehusbandisabsent;safeguardsherinnermostdesire,protectsherselffrommake-up,makesherselfusefulinherhouseholdworkleavingasideallattemptstoadornherselfandisconstantinsalaah;ontheDayofQiyamah,shewillberaisedasavirgin,ifherhusbandbeabelieverthenshewillbehiscompanioninJannahandifherhusbandbeanon-believer,thenAllahIwillmarryhertoamartyr.Note:IntheeventthatherhusbanddieswithoutImaan,thenthewomenwillbemarriedtoamartyr.31.LESSONFORMENMudhaninarratesfromAlitthatmanisnotmasterofhishouseifheremainsunconcernedabouthisstate,ortheconditionofhisdressnordoesitoccurtohimastowhathasprotectedhimfromhunger.Peoplewhoremainindifferenttothestateoftheirhouseholdwhilstabroadshouldtakeheedfromthis.32.RIGHTSOFTHEWIFEHakimbinMuawiyyatnarratesfromhisfather:Iinquiredfrom

gentlenessinitsfinestformandthemannerandawarenessoftheapplicationofthissoftnessandgentlenessandtheregardshownforitwillnotbefoundinthegreatestadvocateofwomennorinthegreatestdefenderofwomen srights.Similarly,thiswillbeabsentinthelivesofthepioussaintsofotherreligionsandeveninthelivesofthepreviousProphetsuwillitbedifficulttofind.TheharmonyandhappinessoftheAzwajulMutahharat(PurewivesofRasulullahr)thejoiningintheiramusementsandconsiderationoftheirdesiresandwants,thejusticeandtherighteousnessshowntothemisnotanywhere,notonlywiththem,butwithchildrenalso,thesamecharacterwasdisplayed.InanimportantmodeofworshipasSalaah,merelythecryingofachildandthepossiblediscomfortitcouldbringtothemothercausedRasulullahrtoshortenthismostlikedformofworship.Wheneverthisoccurred,Salaahwasshortened.Whatsacrifice!WhenSalaahisthegreatestmodeofworshiptooneasRasulullahr,cantherebeagreatersacrifice?Rasulullahrsaid:SometimesIdesiretolengthenmySalaahbutonhearingachildcrying,Ithinkperchancethemother sheartisdistractedbythecryingofherchildandsheisdisturbed,therefore,IshortenmySalaah.V)ALTERINGOURPRESENTOPINIONANDMODEOFTHOUGHTItissincerelydesiredthatinthebehaviourwithwomen,thelawsofAllahI,All-MightyandtheguidanceofHisbeloved,maytheblessingsandpeaceofAllahIbeuponhim,bestudiedinordertofulfilthisreligiousobligationandduty.Thereafterifsomeonestillfindsitdifficulttofulfilthisdutyandright,thenheshouldreconsiderthatfulfillingtheseobligationsisnotmerelythefulfillmentofsomethingdivinelyordainedbutisthefulfillingofhisownduty.

InthefollowingayahoftheQuran,mentionismadeofthedutiesincumbentonbothpartners.Thefulfillmentoftherightsofwomeniscompulsoryonmen.Itisequallycompulsoryforwomentofulfiltherightsofmen.Thereisindicationthatinsteadofdemandingthefulfillmentofonesownrights,vigilancyandpunctualityshouldbemaintainedinthefulfillingofonesduties.Ifthismaterializes,thentheproblemofonerightsnotbeingfulfilled,willneveroccur,becausethedutiesofahusbandaretherightsofhiswifewhilstthedutiesofawifearetherightsofherhusband,whenthesedutiesareaccommodatedthentherightswillobviouslybefulfilled.VI)THESTATUSOFWOMENINISLAM,THETRUERELIGIONWeshouldsacrificeourselvesforRahmatullilalaminrandthetruereligionbroughtbyhimforopeningtheeyesoftheworldandmakingthemaware.Theappreciationofmanformankindwastaughttous,thelawsofjusticeandtruthbroughtforth,therightsofwomenofmenwereplacedinthesamemannerastherightsofmenuponwomen.Womenwereliberatedandself-governedasfarastheirpersonandpropertywereconcerned.Nopersoncouldforciblymarryawomantoastrangerwhilebeingherfatherorgrandfather,andwereshemarriedwithoutpermissionthenthishastobesoughtforthevalidityofthemarriage,herrefusalmakingitvoid.Nopersonhastherighttointerfereinherwealthwithoutherpriorconsentandpermission.Afterbeingdivorcedbyherhusbandorwidowed,sheisfreetoremainasshepleases,no-onecanimposeanythingonher.ShetooisanheirfromtheestateofherrelativesinaccordancewithSharirulingsasothermaleheirsare.Hermaintenanceandupkeeparedecreedasactsofworshipbythe

Shariahonwhoseprogenitorbethousandsofsalaams.IfahusbandisunabletofulfillhernecessitiesthenaMuslimcourtwilleitherorderhimtodosoorinstituteadivorceforlackofmaintenance.There,therightsofbothpartnersandthepreventionofharmanddiscomfortisnotsufficient,accordingtothedivinelawofAllahIprevalentcustomandattitudewillbetakenintoaccount.Whetherinaparticularmatter,discomfortorharmwasintendedasperwhatconstitutesthisaccordingtothecustomofthecommunity.Whateveronedoes,willbeconsideredimpermissibleandforbiddenintheShariah.Forexample,lackofattention,inconsiderationorsuchactionsaswouldamounttopainanddiscomfort,thoughitwillnotbeincludedinthelegal(Shari)spherewillnevertheless,beincludedintheorderoftheQuran.VII)THEGOVERNANCEANDSUPERVISIONOFWOMENBYMENTomakewomencompletelyindependentfromthegovernanceandsupervisionofmenwouldalsocreateseriousproblems.Thisalsoisoneofthewaysofdenyingher,herrights.Thepurposeofdenyingher,herlawfulrightsisindeedacruel,oppressiveandinhumanmannerstoppedbyIslam,andmakinghermistressofherownlivelihoodisalsoadenialofherrightsandultimatedestructionbecausesheisnotmouldedforthisnorcanshebearitsburden,neitherissheresponsibleforhouseholddutiesnortheupkeepofchildren,bothof,whichisborneverypatientlybyher.Therefore,wherevertheQuranhasmentionedherrights,theQuranalsomentions:

ShariahoneveryMuslim,hiswifeandfamily.ItisnarratedthatonthedayofQiyamahthemostpunishedpersonwillbehimwhosewifeandfamilyremainedignorantandindifferenttoIslamicinstruction.Forpeopleacknowledgingthesovereignty,mightandprovidenceofAllahIandHisbelovedProphetrblessing,kindnessandcompassionthereishissaying;Beware!Allofyouareprotectorsandeachofyouwillbequestionedregardinghisdependents(whatwasgiveninhiscare),manisprotectorofhisfamilyandwillbequestionedregardinghiswifeandchildren;thewifeisprotectorofherhusbandshouseholdandwillbequestionedregardinghiswealthandchildren.InanotherahadithitismentionedthatwhoeverhasbeenmaderesponsibleoverothersbyAllahIanddidnotcorrectlyfulfilthisresponsibilitywillnotbeabletosmellthefragranceofJannah.MishkaatVIII)WARNINGInordertoaccomplishthisresponsibilitymenmustobservemuchwisdomandpatienceandactverycautiouslyreferringconstantlytotheUlamathuspreventinganyexcessorlack,otherwiseitwouldresultinfurtheroppression,immodestyormisfortunewhereinallgoodnesswillberelinquishedleavingonlytransgression,thereforetheShariahhasforbiddendistrustandinvestigationwithoutvalidcause.Tomaintainthisharmony,softnessandtheetiquetteofwisdomshouldbeconstantlyapplied,forexample,onreturningfromajourneytheetiquetteappliedshouldbetheoneinstructedtotheUmmahbyRasulullahr:Informyourwivesthattheyprepareforyourreturn,asismentionedinBukhariandMuslimfromJabirt.WewerewiththeProphetr,inabattle,onourreturnaswe

approachedMadinah,wedesiredtoenterthecityimmediatelytowhichRasulullahrreplied:Tarryawhile(grantyourwivestimeforpreparation)tillweenteratnightmeaningthetimeofEshaprayersothattheymaybeinreadinessforyourreturn.Fromthegeneralwordsoftheahadiththenecessityofinformingone swiferegardingone sreturnwillbeseenasapreventionfromanythingunwantedoccurring,whichcouldcauseunpleasantnesstohimandtogetherwiththisthepositionofwomenisalsoobserved.Thepureshariahhasinallmatterstakencompleteconsiderationofwomen.Similarly,womenshouldbeequallyconsiderate,wheneverthehusbandorguidewishedtofulfilhisdutiesuponheritislookeddownupon,andthisisnotsomeinnerfeelingofdisrespectbeyondherbutisdefinitelyinhercontrol.Therefore,wheneveraresponsiblepersonfulfilshisresponsibilityitisforthebenefitofthepeopleunderhim,theyshouldnotfeeldespondentratherthankfulandgladofhim,andprayforhim.Childrenmayfindthisdifficulttocomprehendbutatleastapiouswife smannershouldbeinaccordancewithdeenandrationale.IX)MANNERSANDWAYSTOTHEEASYFULFILLMENTOFRIGHTSINMARRIAGEIslamisanaturalreligionanditslawsarebestknowntoHewhohascreatedmankindandknowswhatismostbeneficialforit.Therefore,everylawinIslamhasinitsownsense,beautyandgood,butbecauselaws,likethepartsofmachine,areinterconnecteditscompletebenefitcanonlyberealizedthroughthecompletereligion.Liketheimportantpartofamachine,wereittofunctionsolelyitsbenefitwouldbeveryinsignificantandminimal,similarlyinouramal(actions)wehaveanaspectregardingthedunya(thisworld)andanaspectregardingakhirah(thehereafter).

ThereforetheresultandblessingsoffulfillingonesrightsanditsproperrewardcanonlybeattainedbyacceptingIslamfullyandcompletely.TheacceptanceofthefollowingrulesofIslamareequallynecessary:1.Tocorrectone sbelief,thatis,torectifythefundamentalsoffaithandacceptitsrelevantaspectsaswell.2.ToadoptthepracticalessentialsofIslamanditsrelatedfacetsthroughgoodactions.3.ToadoptthemeansofstrengtheningonesbondwithAllahIwherebysincerityandcertaintycanbeattained,alsomakingiteasyforthefulfillmentofonesactionsandbringingtruththerein.4.WhendesireovercomesoneregardingexcessivenessandabusingtherightsofoneswifethenitisnecessarytostronglyopposethisbyconjuringtheimagethatAllahIistestingmeineitherfollowingthewrongdesiresoftheselforfollowingthedesiresofAllahIandHisProphetr,andshouldIfollowtheformer,thaninboththeworldandthehereafterwillIhavetocarrysuchaheavyburden,nothingincomparisontothissmalldesireofmyself.AlsoaddressingonesselfsayingYoualsotransgressanddisobeyAllahI,andshouldHeseekretributioninthisworld,whatwouldtheresultbewhilstthepunishmentofthehereafteriseverpresent,onthatdaythisinsignificantabuseofherrightswouldtakeawayyearsofacceptedsalaahandfastingetc..tobegiveinturntoher,whoiswronged.AndshouldthatamountofacceptedIbadah,beabsentthenhersinswillbegiventothetransgressinghusbandasnarratedinthesahihahadithregardingthemuflis(poorperson)who,despitehisgooddeedsonaccountofabusingtherightsofhisfellowbrethrenwillenterJahannum,whichisindeedafearfulplacetogo.MayAllahIshowmercyuntousandgrantustheguidanceandperseverancetocontrolourdesires.....Ameen.

5.Despitethis,wereapersonduetoanger,ignoranceorindifference,toabusesomeone smaterialorphysicalrightthenheshouldrepentimmediatelyandregrethiserrorandberemorseful,askingforAllah sIMercy,ForgivenessandProtectionfromsuchdespicableactsandfromtheintriguesoftheself.Togetherwiththis,itisequallynecessarytorepaywhateverhasbeenmisappropriated,materiallyandredresstheoccurrenceofwhateverphysicaloremotionalharmtheremaybe.Forexample,todisrespect,tease,swear,slander,physicallyassaultsomeonewherebyemotionalorphysicalharmoccurs,thenitisequallynecessarytoseekforgivenessfromthewrongedpersonandovercomethisinasuchmannerwherebyitseffectisnegated.Onehastofightonesdesiretothisextent,inordertoobtainthepleasureofAllahIandprotectoneselffromHiswrathandpunishmentandseekpardonfromthepersonwronged,whetheritbesomeoneyounger,wifeoremployer.Byrectifyingthewrong,onewouldbenefitotherwisetheaccountinthehereafterwillbeindeeddifficultandarduous,becauserepentancealonecertainlywillbringrepentanceintheneglectofAllah sIrightslikethecommittingofmajorsinsaswell,butinregardtotherightsofourfellowbrethren,wehavetoaccompanysincererepentancewithanecessarypardonfromtheoppressedandwrongedperson.X)RESPECTFORTHEPEOPLEFOLLOWINGTHESUNNAHANDFEARINGALLAHI.ThereforethebelovedofAllahI,onwhosebehalftheworldwascreated,whoisamercyuntomankindandthegreatestbenefactor,whosecharacterAllahIHimselfhaspraisedintheQuran:

wordlydisgraceitwouldbring,forcomparedtothehereafteritisminimalindeed.ApersonstoodupandclaimedhewasowedthreedirhamsbyRasulullahrtowhichRasulullahrreplied:IdonotwishtoaccuseyouoflyingnortoletyouundertakeanyoathbutIwouldliketoknowthenatureofthisaffairHereplied:AbeggarcametoyouonedayandyouaskedmetogivehimthreedirhamsonyourbehalftowhichIcomplied.RasulullahrtoldFazlIbnAbbasttogivethemanthreedirhams.ThereafterdifferentpeoplerequestedRasulullahrtomakedu aontheirbehalfandmentionedtheirpersonalshortcomingstowhichUmartwarnedYouareexposingyoursinsbutNabirsaid:Umarremainsilent,verilythedisgraceofthisworldisverymuchlesserthanthedisgraceoftheakhirah.Alsomentionedinthisincidentisthatafteraddressingthegathering,UmartalsoaddressedthemtowhichRasulullahrsaid:UmariswithmeandIamwithUmar,aftermydemisetruthwillremainwithUmarwhereverhemaybe.ThereafterRasulullahrwenttothehomeoftheSiddiqah,Aishayandsimilarlyaddressedthegatheringofthewomenashehadaddressedthemen,andrepeatedtheannouncement.ShamailutTirmidhiXI)FINALLYANIMPORTANTMESSAGECONCERNINGONEMISLEADINGASPECT.Thisshouldberememberedbyboth,husbandandwife,thatShaytanattimesdeceivesyouintothinkingthatyourpartnerlacksinthefulfillmentofyourrightsoriscommittingsuchandsuchasinthereforeItooshouldabandonthefulfillingofhisrightsorcommitthesaidsin.ThisnotionishighlyincorrectbecauseeachoneofthemwillgoseparatelytotheirgravesandeachonewillbequestionedbyAllahIregardingtheirmisdeeds.However,eachoneshouldkeepthehereafterbeforeourselvesandponderabout

thesmalleffortrequiredtokeeptheselfundercontrolthuspreparingourakhirah(hereafter)andprotectingourselvesfromthepunishmentandterribleafflictionsofthehereafterandforeverstayincomfortandease.RuhulMa aniThislifestylecanonlybeattainedbythosewhoarecontentandpleasedwithwhateverisgrantedtothembyAllahIandarefreefromgreedandavarice,makingitobviousthatthiscanonlybeattainedbythepeopleofIman(faith)andthoseobedientuntothetruth.PeopleturningagainstAllahIanddisobeyingHimcannotattainthislifestyledespitehavingthemeansandcomfort;theystillfinddifficultyanddisgrace,becauseofgreedtheycannotevenreachthesmallestaspectofcontentment.Theyareconstantlyengagedinobtainingmorewealthandwheneverconfrontedwithsomethingagainsttheirdesire,theyshowanimmediatedisliketothepowerandworkingofAllahIandexperiencegreatanxiety,sometimesresultinginsuicideasisbeingwitnessedtoday.ThishasbeenexplicitlymentionedintheAyah:
