HOST A FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT In August several students will arrive in our community as stu-dents at Scecina Memorial High School. Two boys still need lov-ing homes. Scecina is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship to each family that hosts a student, in addition to a $6,000 stipend, which the exchange student's family will pay. We are working with Foreign Links Around the World (FLAG), a nonprofit agency approved by the U.S. Department of State. Would you consider hosting a foreign exchange student?
ABOUT THE BOYS Alex, 16, likes soccer and swimming and is interested in joining the school team. He has a new baby sister (so he would be good with small children). He likes cats and dogs and has a fun sense of humor! Parker, 15, is transferring from Knoxville. He likes tennis, ping-pong and model airplanes. He can play guitar and clarinet and loves animals! He is mature and would love a host sibling his age. He will be shy at first but has an outgoing personality.
