To make your trip to Tulsa the best possible we have put together a guide to some of our favorite places in Tulsa. Many of the locations listed in the guide are running discounts and running specials for Hanson.net members, so make sure to

keep an eye on your guide while you are in town. Weʼre looking forward to seeing all of you and sharing new music and much more.

Isaac, Taylor & Zac

Tulsa History We obviously love Tulsa! Not only is it our hometown and the place where we started playing music, but itʼs also home

to incredible history and beauty. Incorporated in 1898, Tulsa was originally part of Indian Territory settled by Creek tribes.

Over the course of Tulsaʼs history, it has been known as the “Oil Capitol of the World,” “The Birthplace of Route 66,” and called “Americaʼs Most Beautiful City” by Time Magazine in the 1950ʼs.

One of the many things we love about Tulsa is the history of great music & musicians - from Woody Guthrie to Leon Russell.

Concert Venue Completed in 1914, the Brady Theater was originally designed as a municipal auditorium and convention hall by the architectural firm of Rose and Peterson of Kansas City, KS. The building was known as Convention Hall for the first forty years of its life. When

the facility officially opened, it was billed as the largest hall between Kansas City and Houston. In 1930, world-renowned architect Bruce Goff was hired as designer of a major interior remodel. He had thirty days to transform the

barn-like interior into an elegant showplace. The Art Deco style remodeling included draperies and seats, vertical wall panels of white plaster decorated with thin gold dividers, gilded air conditioning grilles, and acoustic ceiling tiles painted green, blue, white,

and gold. Five massive green and white pendant light fixtures were installed centrally in the auditorium. In 1952, additions were constructed at the front and rear of the original 1914 structure. Upper and lower lobbies were added and the

building was renamed Tulsa Municipal Theater. In 1979, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The architectural design at the time was referred to as Western Classic Revival.

Some of the greatest names in show business have graced the Historic Brady Theater stage. Below is only partial listing of those

artists who have performed at the Historic Brady Theater; Louis Anderson, Adam Ant, Chet Atkins, Atlantic Starr, Burt, Tony Bennett, Blood Sweat & Tears, Pat Boone, Glen Campbell, The Cars, Chicago, Roy Clark, Rosemary Clooney, George M. Cohan, Phil Collins, David Allen Coe, John Conlee, Earl Thomas Conley, Alice Cooper, David Copperfield, Bill Cosby, Devo, The Fabulous

Thunderbirds, John Fogerty, Kenny G., Gallagher, Genesis, Al Green, Merle Haggard, Don Henley, Buddy Holly, Tom Jones, Journey, Kansas, B.B. King, Cyndi Lauper, Motley Crue, Willie Nelson, Ted Nugent, Restless Heart, Kenny Rogers, Will Rogers,

Styx, Ed Sullivan, Survivor, Sylvia, Randy Travis, U2, Phil Vassar, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robin Williams, Dwight Yoakam - Bradytheater.com
