Ability to use different mechanicaland electrical tools

Ability of identifying all equipmentfaults and parts

Replacing all electrical and

mechanical parts at site Interpreting sites mechanical and

electrical layouts Budget control Preventive and corrective site actions Knowledge about safety and

environmental standards

Complete servicing and overhauling (12kva --- 40kva)Lister, FG-Wilson, Perkins generators etc

Connection and installation of generator panels (ATS12kva 40kva)

Servicing of AC and DC air conditioners, units, andtroubleshooting compressors ranging from 1HP

Ability to climb over 45m towers and carry outmaintenance on Aircraft Warning Light and lightingarrestor installations

Installation of diesel tanks, diesel flow, return lines togenerators, and ensuring no leakages from any equipment

Carry out maintenance on DC batteries, surge arrestorsystems, and complete wiring of both AC and DCdistribution panels

Good understanding and use of earth resistanceequipment

Reporting to team leader

Professional RequirementsQualification Member of The Engineering Institution of Zambia (E.I.Z.)

First degree in Electrical Engineering or any other technicalqualification
