    Christmas Flower

    Offerings

    In Memory of

Agnes Wood by Mr. Frank Cash

TO BE THE PLACE OF ENCOUNTER WITH THE FULLNESS

OF JESUS CHRIST IN OUR COMMUNITY

This is the core purpose of Saint Rose of Lima Parish, and the

pandemic has clarified the truth and necessity of this purpose.

The hunger for Christmas Masses was a perfect example of the

service and mission we accomplish here at Saint Rose. In these

days when God's people need somewhere to turn, they have

been turning here to us for their most fundamental needs. And

we are blessed when that happens because we encounter Jesus in all who

come in any need: spiritual, emotional, physical, psychological, intellectual, or

    any other human longing.

Thank you for allowing Saint Rose Parish to surrender ourselves to this core

purpose of encounter with the person of Jesus. He invites us into His adoration

of the Father, in union with the Holy Spirit. This adoration is what we are made

for, and this is what we offer in this community. A lot of people are negative

about the year 2020, but it has been a year of clarifying grace for Saint Rose of

Lima Parish. I believe that we are more fully what we are supposed to be than

    ever before.

    Praise Him!

    ¡Alabado sea!

    PREK 12 SCHOOL FEASIBILITY STUDY

As the new year approaches, the feasibility study focusing on a potential new Catholic school in

southeast Williamson County continues to move forward with great energy.

At the present time, community demographic statistics are being gathered and analyzed along

with parish and Catholic school enrollment trends in Williamson and Rutherford counties.

Listening sessions were conducted earlier this fall with several individuals and groups, ranging

from pastors, principals and parents. The goal of the data research and listening sessions is to

provide a foundation for determining the strength of the student-pool in areas from which the

proposed school could draw enrollment and ensure sustainability for its future as well as the future

    of the nearby schools.

Combined with a market research survey to be initiated at the start of the new year, the data

findings and results will demonstrate if this new school program is feasible. Please be on the

lookout in early January for a link to complete this important survey. Your input will be critical to

the success of the feasibility study.

    HAITI UPDATE

Dear brothers and sisters of Saint Rose parish,

I am happy to greet you all from Robillard. I hope my email will find you all and your family very

well despite Covid continuing to kill a lot of people around the world, particularly in the United

    States.

On behalf of all parishioners I want to thank you very much for your continued financial support to

my parish in the fields of Health and Education despite the bad news about the economy. We

wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May Emmanuel bring you happiness!

Thanks to God my parishioners and I are fine. The kids went to parish school from the beginning

of November through last Friday (December 18). They will go back to school on January 4. Please

keep us in your prayers as we pray for you too!
