    GIVING TO SAINT ROSE

one time or to set up

    recurring gifts. Online

    giving may also be accessed

    STEWARDSHIP

This parish amazes me for its generosity. We have had a number

of opportunities recently to share with others who are in need,

and Saint Rose has responded: the offerings for the Holy Land,

for disaster relief, for seminarian education, as well as the food

drive are but a few examples of this generosity.

I need to ask for your generosity again, as you are able: this time

for the needs of the whole parish. Saint Rose has been able to

keep operating without any major cuts throughout the pandemic,

even though we have experienced some "dry" times of offertorycollections over

the summer. Here at the end of the year, you have the opportunity, if God has

given you the ability, to put us back on our feet financially as a parish.

Remember the options for parish giving: online, direct deposit, mail, the

collections boxes in the narthex, the drop boxes at the office entrances. The

health of the whole parish keeps all the ministries strong. Thank you for your

    prayerful consideration.

46 ROSARIES IN HONOR OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE

For more than a century, the tradition of 46 rosaries in honor of the Virgin of

Guadalupe takes place. It is a traditional spiritual preparation for the focal date

which is December 12th. The origin of this ancient devotion goes back to the

XIX century. The number 46 is significant because it represents the number of

stars of the mantle of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This devotion is still carried today

as an encounter of faith. This venerable tradition links the month of October,

which is dedicated to the holy rosary, from October 28th to December 12th

which is the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This devotion began at our parish

on Wednesday, October 28 and concludes on the feast day of the Patroness of

the Americas Our Lady of Guadalupe.
