A tribute to the great industrialdesigner Niko Kralj and his Shell chair, Nico Less is a congress seat that can be linked into compositions of various lengths or stored into vertical stacks. The seat consists of ergonomic triangular plates allowing comfortable sitting by adapting to the body. Transformation to an office chair is made with two metallic bases or to a living room chair with a wooden base. You can pair it with a prefabricated table with tin, wooden or felt top.

Made of xilith ® an extraordinary material with a look of ebony

The uniqueness of the 5x5 chair is xilith, 2,5 million old raw material dug from 300m under the earth surface together with a coal lignite. But it is neither coal nor wood. The majority of the raw material is thrown away so it generates waste on the earth surface. Xilith is extremely hard but brittle, difficult to be shaped in big dimensions. Therefore the idea about chair design seemed to be very provocative and the dimension 5x5cm was the challenging starting point for the design concept.

The veneer lamp shades were first designed in 1962 by Nives and Franc Vehovar. Back then, the lights were completely handmade and were never mass produced. Fifty years later, with some changes in design and with the help of contemporary technologies, we have compiled an extended family of lights. New sizes, forms and usages were added in a wide range of wood veneers.

The Moon element is composed of two separate parts that fit together tightly forming a block. When we want to stretch our legs, Moon can be transformed into an easy-chair simply by shifting the upper part in the position of a backrest. We can also combine two or more Moon elements together and form different compositions, such as sofa, a combination of a table with one or more sitting elements, or a combination of four functioning as a bed.
