Happy New Year! We are so excited to start this year with you. We have incredible stories with you. We have been working to rebrand ourselves and we hope you like what you see. If you look over to your left you will see our new logo. We decided not to use the shield and to use the name of the Home instead. We love it and hope that you will as well. Our website is being com-pletely revamped and this will include all new pages of information as well as more education and ways to connect with the residents, staff and Board of Directors. We have included our new Foun-dation in our newsletter as well. If you look to your bottom left you will see the new board members for the Foundation. Our website has a Foundation tab as well for more information. In February, the State of Michigan will make changes to the age limit to live at the John George
Home. So you will may be seeing some younger folks at the Home. Our average age is 73 and we
don’t anticipate much movement with the age but we wanted you to know that the Home for the
Aged age limit is now a little younger.

Meet John Kwiatkowski:
need to interview him (ask gay) John moved in to the Home in July 2013he has two chil-dren, Leslie and Todd and he has three grandchildren>… He loves Michigan State but enjoys watching anything sport related on TV. He loves to participate in activities and has a knack for winning all of the card games. He loves to spend time with his family and truly enjoys his
grandchildren. John goes to exercise class every morning and has been a part of the leadership team with the Home’s Resident Council. John offers so much to the Home. He has a perfect smile and a laugh that makes your day better. Thank you John for being apart of our family.

The Classic Sudoku is a number placing puzzle based on a
9x9 grid with several given numbers. The object is to place
the numbers 1 to 9 in the empty squares so that each row,
each column and each 3x3 box contains the same number
only once.

day the big paper comes, I have to dress up and go to church."
