CRANE WORKBOXES

Make Sure it’s SafeAs safety is the highest priority, Nobles crane workboxes havebeen assessed by Workplace Services in South Australia to betotally compliant to AS 1418.17. Reciprocal registration isavailable in the other states as required.

Workboxes are for use only in those situations where it isnecessary to convey personnel with tools and work materials to a work location by crane in accordance with AS 2550.1.

Please consult state Work Cover or OH&S authorities for localrequirements.

Dimensions are subject to commercial tolerances and may change without notice.

WARNING• Always ensure that the crane used is of sufficient capacity at the

radius of use.• Never use workboxes in proximity to live equipment.• Fall arrest harnesses are required for occupants.• Cranes used must be properly maintained and checked in

accordance with AS 2550.1 and local regulations.• Workboxes are only for situations where it is necessary to

The ABCD of fall protectionThe A, B, C, D of Fall Protection covers the fundamentalrequirements of every personal fall protection system. Use it as aguide when evaluating your fall protection requirements, however,always consult a fall protection specialist if you're unsure of anyaspect of fall protection or fall protection equipment.

A = AnchorageThe anchorage is the secure point of attachment for the fall arrestsystem. The appropriate type of anchorage varies by industry, thejob being performed, the type of installation and the structureavailable, but it must be able to withstand fall arrest forces. Theanchorage connector provides a means of attaching the system tothe anchorage.

B = Body SupportThe full-body harness provides the necessary body support withstraps that fasten around the user and distribute fall arrest forcesover the upper thighs, pelvis, chest and shoulders.

C = ConnectorsA connector, such as a shock-absorbing lanyard or self-retractinglifeline, is a device that links the user’s full-body harness to ananchorage. When used with a fall restraint system, the connectormust be short enough so that the worker cannot reach a fallhazard.

Permanent Roof AnchorsPermanent Purlin or Truss mounted anchors are an ideal solutionfor both residential and commercial applications. All anchorcomponents are manufactured from 316 grade Stainless Steel andcan be retrofitted on top of a steel or tiled roof.

Each kit contains comprehensive user instructions, datacertification and inspection tags, as required under AS/NZS 1891.Anchors are rated up to 22kN depending on the type of anchorselected and the structure.
