The Government of India has decided to extend the Interest Subvention Scheme forRupee Export Credit and as also widen the scheme to include certain items coveringthe Engineering Sectors. The Scheme will be made available to the EngineeringSector on pre and post shipment export credit on the same terms and conditionsas available to other sectors. A list of 134 tariff lines of Engineering products approvedfor inclusion in Interest Subvention for the period January 1, 2013 to March 31, 2013is available on the EEPC India website (www.eepcindia.org)

Hotel Accommodation/Travel ExpensesAll participants will be booked in the same hotel for convenience. Hotel charges, air ticketing and visa fees etc. will haveto be borne by the individual participant. EEPC India will recommend for obtaining visas to these countries.

Registration and Participation ChargesRs. 50,000/- per participant per company will be charged to partially cover the expenses on providing following facilities tothe participants:

- Airport Transfer- Venue Expenses for B2B business meetings, working lunch on B2B day- Mobilization of buyers for B2B business meetings- Printing of delegates’ profile for distribution among the Buyers, Chamber of Commerce, Trade Associations

and EmbassiesOther individual expenses like hotel charges, food expenses (other than the lunch provided by EEPC India at each centeron the day of BSM), other transport expenses for meetings/factory visits will have to be borne by the delegates.

Additional delegate from the same company will be required to pay an additional fee of Rs 30,000/- to defray the expenseson account of airport transfers and working lunches during the day of the B2B business meetings.

MDA Entitlements

All eligible participants will be entitled to MDA grant under Focus LAC Programme of Ministry of Commerce & Industry,Government of India as per the MDA Guidelines effective from April 01, 2006.

Assistance would be permissible on travel expenses by Air in Economy Excursion Class fare and/or charges of built upfurnished stall subject to an upper ceiling of Rs. 1,80,000/- (Rupees one lakh eighty thousand only).

Further, eligibility for MDA grant is subject to exporting companies having FOB value of exports up to Rs. 15 crores in thepreceding year, having complete 12 months membership with EEPC India with regular filing of returns and fulfilling otherconditions, details of which can be obtained from respective Regional Offices of EEPC India.

Indonesia and its EconomyIndonesia with 240 million of population is the largest economy in Southeast Asia and also one of the emerging marketeconomies of the world. Indonesia announced last week that itrecorded its worst-ever trade gap in June as strong domestic demand boosted imports even as its exports fell.

Auto MarketAuto makers have just recorded their best month ever in Indonesia, selling more than 100,000 passenger cars in July,more than 15% they sold here a year earlier. Indonesia’s increasingly affluent middle class was buying new cars.

Indonesia is the 3rd world largest consumers in motor vehicle after China and India. The auto market in Indonesia is stillmajor market in ASEAN with the number of vehicle to reach 20 million units of cars and 50 million units of motorcycles.Indonesia has become centre of production for ASEAN market from several global automobile industries (Volkswagen,Hino, Geely, Toyota, Honda, Daihatsu, etc). Assistance would be permissible on travel expenses by Air in Economy Excursion Class fare and/or charges of built upfurnished stall subject to an upper ceiling of Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand only).

Further, eligibility for MDA grant is subject to exporting companies having FOB value of exports up toRs. 15 crores in the preceding year, having complete 12 months membership with EEPC India with regular filing of returnsand fulfilling other conditions, details of which can be obtained from respective Regional Offices of EEPC India.
