Urban Renewal and Development has started in Turkey after the enactment of law no 6306, “Renewal of Regions under Disaster Risks” in 2014. More than 6,9 million residences are planned to be reconstructed within 20 years, which means USD 410 billion. So, the growing needs for the natural

Growing Needs for Natural Stone Products with the Urban Renewal Initiative

With its 1, 9 billion dollar export value, Turkey is the biggest exporter in the world on the basis of marble and travertine. Processed granite has the most significant share with 81 % in imports of natural stone and processed marble comes second 13 %. India, Spain, Vietnam, Italy and China rank first among the countries that Turkey imports natural stone.
