There will be a canteen available (Dianne’s Country Kitchen) for lunch and throughout the sale. We thank you for attending, and wish you well with your purchases which will be cared for until trucking arrangements can be made. In some cases, the catalogued cattle will show the following day @ 1:00 p.m. at the Lindsay Central Exhibition, therefore, you are cautioned to pay attention to announcements made from the auction block on sale day. Aladdin is a smooth polled fullblood Crystal Youngblood son. He had a birth weight of 95 lbs and is a combination of the best genetics we could possibly offer coming from both sides of his pedigree. His sire is the reigning National Champion Bull and has produced calves that are heads and tails better than any other bull we have used to date for performance, thickness and temperament. His dam, ultra, also came to us from Crystal Farms and she has been one of our top performing cows. Ultra was included in our flush program this past June and produced 18 Grade 1 embryos in one flush which shows her excellent fertility, and she has already bred back to Youngblood for her 2015 calf. Aladdin was shown as a bull calf at the National in 2013 and claimed Reserve Bull Calf Champion at only 6 months of age. We used him on a small group of heifers and cows this summer and he has proven to be a keen breeder. Don’t miss this chance if you are looking for a new polled fullblood herd sire.

We all like a little more rump! This well muscled bull will add just that to your calf crop. His full brother was shown in 2013 taking Grand Champion Bull at both Orno and Warkworth Fair, and Bruno hopes to do this same in 2014. He will be a part of our show string and participate in this year national show. He will be 129 tested prior to sale.

We purchased Knox Nancy 12N at Sheldon Asseltine’s Production Sale a few years ago; what a steal we got! She has produced the top gaining bull on test for the last three years from a different sire. This year she has another different sire offspring (Arsha’s Polled Trooper 67T). I put my money on Nancy that she once again has produced the top gaining bull. Crystal Blade has the muscling pattern that definitely the blonde breeders are looking for as well as the feedlots. With the premiums you will get from this guy’s offspring. Blade’s nickname could become “mortgage lifter”. Blade is a very docile bull which as we know is passed on down the line. Epd’s will be available by sale time.

It was a sad day at Crystal Farms when we lost Krystelle 47K due to illness 2 years ago. She was our top cow for many years. Producing sons like National Champion Crystal Waldo and Crystal Youngblood. Now we are offering a daughter from her; off one of the top polled bulls in the breed today. The numbers tells us she is very docile lady and has lots of milk behind her. Bred on April 10, 2014 to the top gaining bull on test Crystal Alden 25A. Alden has performance, milk and calving ease. Annabell is a long heifer with a feminine front and a deep rib and thick hip. Her dam, Black Marble Summer, is a cow that was the top selling female at the West Winds sale in 2006. Summer has done a very good job for us so far and has a dynamite Youngblood heifer calf this year. Annabell’s sire Arsha’s Polled umpire needs no introduction. He has consistently produced good heifers and bulls that have done well in the shows, sales and in the pasture. Annabell is halter broke. she was observed bred to little Creek aladdin 11a on may 10 and has been pasture exposed to aladdin from may 15- sale day.

April is one of our younger 2013 models but she has grown out well and is one of our deepest bodied heifers. With Youngblood as her sire she has depth and thickness to spare and is eye-appealing as well. Youngblood and his progeny have turned heads wherever we have been with them and he is currently the reigning National Grand Champion bull. April’s dam was the reserve champion heifer calf at the National in 2010. With maternal traits on both sides of her pedigree April will end up being a powerhouse of a cow. she has been pasture exposed to arsha’s Polled umpire 219u from may 20th to July 20th.

This year we had many heifers born off of our Crystal Wilmer bull. We decided we would pick out one of the polled heifers for this year’s National Sale. Ballerina is a very easy keeping; well put together calf that is out of a first calf heifer. Ballerina’s mom has done her job very well; we sold Georgina to Ashley McNevan and Tyler Sutcliffe. Wilmer has been the best investment we have made as a breeding operation to date, he produced good footed, easy calving, phenotypically correct calves that were mainly polled. Out of 50+ calves born to Wilmer, only 3 had horns. Ballerina is entered in the show on Sunday but if the buyer wishes to take her home prior to the show they are welcome to. If they choose to let her stay for the show; transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
