Bars & Beverage Services

Coast Victoria Harbourside Hotel & Marina and Blue Crab Catering are pleased to offer hotel operated bars supplied exclusively with basic and premier liquors. Mix includes orange juice, lime, clamato juice, regular and diet soft drinks with lemons and limes for garnish. Custom beverage options and

cocktails can be prearranged with your event planner. House wines will vary throughout the year. Full wine list is available on request.

A fee of $25 per hour per bartender applies for a minimum of 4 hours. This fee will be waived with a minimum of $450 in bar sales. Drink

tickets are available upon request. Tickets will be billed at Host Bar prices, based on the beverages ordered.

Catering Information & Policies

Menus Our wide varieties of appetizers, entrées and desserts have been designed to offer our guests flexibility in creating a menu. Our Chef welcomes the opportunity to design a special menu package specifically for your group. Choice of Menu When selecting your menu please remember that for each function the menu is identical for all guests attending. Special dietary substitutions are available (in limited quantities) and must be arranged well in advance of the function. Guests who are to receive special meals should be identified to the Banquet Manager prior to the service commencing. Menu selections and other requirements are to be provided to the hotel at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Menu selections and other requirements received later may be restricted to availability. All food & beverage prices are subject to a 15% service charge and applicable taxes. Guaranteed Attendance A guaranteed number of guests attending your food and beverage function is required three (3) business days prior to the event. If the number is not received, the estimated number of guests at the time of booking will be taken as the guaranteed number for billing purposes. Should more than your guaranteed number of attendees arrive to the function, you will be charged accordingly. Prices Menu prices quoted are subject to change. Prices quoted are guaranteed for sixty (60) days with a signed contract. Some menu items are subject to seasonal availability and current market pricing. We are pleased to offer a 50% discount on our buffet menu prices for children aged 5-12 years. There is no charge for children 4 and under. Special Services Our Catering Department would be pleased to assist you in developing special requests including reserved seating arrangements, floor plans and registration tables. Start and Finish Times Start and finish times of all functions are to be strictly adhered to. Function space is only booked for the time indicated. Set-up and dismantling times are to be specified at the time of booking.

Catering Information & Policies Method of Payment All new business accounts may apply for credit to establish billing privileges prior to the event. If billing is not established, an alternate form of payment is required. For all private and social functions, a non-refundable deposit by credit card is required within fourteen (14) days of the initial hold placed on the venue space. This will be applied towards the final bill. Once menu selections are made, your catering consultant will provide you with an estimated cost for your event, including all food and beverage. The credit card on file will be pre-authorized no earlier than 72 hours prior to your event to ensure guaranteed payment.

Food & Beverage from Outside the Hotel Due to City and Provincial Health Regulations the hotel does not allow any outside food to be brought in with the exception of wedding cakes. For this same reason, food provided by the hotel is not allowed off premises. Function Room Assignment A more suitable function room may be assigned to your group should the number of guests and/or set-up requirements change. Room rental will be charged accordingly. Display Materials To avoid damage to wall coverings, we do not allow the use of strong tape, tacks, or any other attachments for posters, flyers or written materials to the walls or doors. Confetti, rice and other such materials are not allowed. Open flame is not permitted in our meeting spaces. We can provide LED candles upon request. Audio/Visual The hotel must be advised of set up requirements, A/V requirements and any special services required at the initial time of booking. Should there be any changes to your set up, A/V or any other requirements with less than 72 hours’ notice of such changes, additional charges may be applied. Cancellation Policy In the event of cancellation, the customer is subject to a charge of 100% of the total value, thirty (30) days prior to the function date. Please refer to your contract and/or banquet event order for attrition and cancellation clauses.

Catering Information & Policies Gratuity/Tax All food and beverage are subject to a service gratuity. GST is applied to the balance of your bill.

Security The hotel does not assume liability or responsibility for damage or loss of personal property or equipment left in the function room. Additional security services can be arranged. Parking We have a two-level underground parkade. Daytime parking is complimentary for guests using our banquet facilities. Overnight parking is $15 plus tax. Entertainment All function music is subject to “Re-Sound” and “SOCAN” (Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada) fees. These fees are determined based on the meeting space capacity and type of event and submitted to “Re-Sound” and “SOCAN” on behalf of the guests hosting the event. Shipping, Receiving, Storage We are pleased to receive your conference materials at the hotel on your behalf no earlier than thee (3) business days prior to your event. In order to ensure proper delivery of your materials to the on-site convener, all shipments MUST be address as follows:
