TIMMY jumps out of his house, dressed as UNCLE SAM. It's the 4th of July and he is pumped. It's sunny and warm outside.

TIMMYOh boy! It's the fourth of July!!!

MOM AND DAD walk into scene, holding AN UNCLE SAM HAT.

DADDon't forget your hat, Son!

TIMMYThanks Dad!

A PIE pops out of the hat, smacking Timmy in the face. Mom and Dad <<LAUGH>>. Off Timmy's furious face, we...

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. TURNER HOME - FRONT PORCH - HALLOWEEN

Timmy -- dressed in his CLEFT THE BOY CHIN WONDER costume - jumps into frame ready to go trick or treating.

TIMMYOh boy! It's Halloween!

COSMO and WANDA pop in holding a JACK O' LANTERN.

WANDATimmy, wait!

COSMODon't forget your Jack O' Lantern!

TIMMYThanks, loving Godparents!!

Timmy grabs the pumpkin. A SKELETON HAND pops out and smacks Timmy in the face with a PUMPKIN PIE. Cosmo tastes a little.

Timmy, dressed like SANTA CLAUS, jumps into frame.

TIMMYThanks always-mean-yet-kind-and-gentle-on-the holidays, Vicky!!

EXT. - TURNER HOME - FRONT PORCH - GROUNDHOGS DAY

The weather is still nippy. Timmy pops in, wearing a LITTLE BROWN HAT that looks like a ground hog's head.

TIMMYOh boy! It's Groundhog Day!

CHESTER and AJ walk in carrying a BOX.

AJHappy Groundhog Day, Timmy.

CHESTERGo on! Open it!

Timmy pulls off the bow. The box falls open. Inside: the most adorable STUFFED GROUND HOG ever.

TIMMYA stuffed groundhog?

AJAnd just watch what happens when it sees it's shadow!

The groundhog -- with a <<WHIRR>> looks down and sees it's SHADOW. It instantly snaps it's head back at Timmy, takes on an Evil glare, sprouts fangs, pops CLAWS, like Wolverine, and attacks Timmy in a cartoony, whirling dervish, Tasmanian Devil sort of way.

TIMMYYaaaaa!!!!!!!!!

Chester and AJ laugh. The groundhog stops tearing Timmy apart.

TIMMYWell... At least there wasn't a pie...

The Groundhog pulls out a PIE, smacks Timmy in the face with it, and then goes back to business on him.

TIMMYAAAGH!

As Chester and AJ howl, we...

CUT TO:

INT. - TIMMY'S BEDROOM - APRIL FOOL'S DAY MORNING

Timmy sleeps. Next to his CLOCK RADIO is a CALENDAR with all the days of March "x'd" out... And a big CIRCLE around April 1st, with big red letters reading APRIL FOOL'S DAY and REVENGE!!!! CLICK! It's 7:00 AM.

TIMMY (SNORES)

CHET UBETCHA (O.S.)Good morning, Dimmsdale! I'm Chet Ubetcha and it's April First! That means it's April Fool's day!!

Timmy snaps awake. He runs over to the fishbowl.

TIMMYFINALLY! The day I get my revenge on everybody who pranked me!

CHET UBETCHAAnd... the news this morning is... Snow! And lots of it!!

TIMMYOH BOY! A SNOW DAY!

Timmy zips into his closet and comes out wearing full SNOW GEAR and carrying a CLASSIC RED SLED. Timmy runs down the STEPS, flies through the FRONT DOOR and jumps on the sled.

CAMERA PANS with Timmy as he and the sled skid along the completely dry pavement. Not a snowflake in sight. Sparks fly from the metal runners on the sled as Timmy slowly comes to a halt in front of...... EVERYBODY- family and friends - including CHET UBETCHA - all standing there waiting for him.

CHET UBETCHAThis is Chet Ubetcha saying "April Fools Timmy Turner!"

Everybody laughs as Timmy steams. The stuffed robot groundhog walks up to Timmy, sees it's shadow, and goes to town on him.

TIMMYAaaagh!!!!

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. - TIMMY'S HOUSE - SECONDS LATER

Timmy enters and marches up the stairs toward his room, fuming and torn to shreds. Cosmo and Wanda meet him at the top, still laughing.

TIMMYKeep laughing... YE WHO HAVE PRANKED ME, YOUR TIME OF RECKONING IS AT HAND!!! (pointing to Cosmo's shirt) You got a spot right there.

Cosmo looks down. Timmy "tweaks" his nose with a flick of his finger, but the tweak bounces back and he hits himself in the eye. He staggers backwards and falls down the STAIRS.

COSMOA spot? I don't see a spot.

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. TIMMY'S ROOM - LATER

Timmy tests out various practical jokes on the Godparents: Chattering TEETH. JOY BUZZER. SQUIRTING FLOWER. SPRING SNAKES in a can... All of which backfire on him during this scene.

TIMMYEverybody else plays great practical jokes on me all year long!! But mine stink!!

COSMOFace it, Timmy, you're no April Fool.

TIMMYYou're right! But the April Fool is! Maybe he could help me!

COSMOSure! He's the funniest guy in the universe!!

WANDATimmy, NO!!! He might be the ultimate, magical prankster, but he never knows when to stop!

TIMMYYou're just scared because you know he's gonna help me get you guys!

WANDATimmy, no one has ever wished the Fool to Earth before! You don't know what could happen!

TIMMYSure I do. You eat a big helping of revenge pie. (to Cosmo) How do I get him here?

COSMOWell, like any great comedian, he needs an introduction!!

POOF! Cosmo poofs a 3x5 CARD into Timmy's hand. Timmy reads.

TIMMY"Ladies and Gentlemen, put your hands together for the comedy stylings of... The April Fool?"

CUT TO:

EXT. - FAIRYWORLD - NIGHT

We see a CITY BLOCK in FAIRYWORLD and a sign reading "UNCLE KNUCKLES CHUCKLE HUT." The crowd laughs as we push in:

APRIL FOOLFairies?? They've got wands and wings! What's up with that?

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. - UNCLE KNUCKLES CHUCKLE HUT - SAME TIME

The APRIL FOOL is on stage, holding the MIKE STAND. An audience of FAIRIES watches him. He's confident, powerful and having a great time. HE IS IN HIS ENVIRONMENT.

APRIL FOOLAnd that Jorgen Von Strangle! Have you seen that guy's forehead? They should call it a five-head?

ON CROWD - JORGEN SITS WITH THE TOOTH FAIRY

CROWD / JORGENHA HA! HA! HA! (beat) HEY!

ON THE FOOL

FOOLHey, I'm on a roll!!! Knock knock!

<<RIMSHOT>> The fool disappears.

CUT TO:

INT. - TIMMY'S ROOM - SAME TIME

SFX: <<RIMSHOT>> The APRIL FOOL appears.

(In the middle of a joke) I said Knock Knock! (realizing he's elsewhere) Hey, this isn't the Chuckle Hut! What's up with that?

COSMO (LAUGHS WAY TOO HARD) "what's up with that! AHAHAHAHAH!!!"

TIMMYHi, Mister Fool! I'm Timmy Turner! It's April Fool's Day and I need your special brand of comedic help!

FOOLI got a day named after me? I don't remember signing anything! Where's my cut of the dough?

COSMODough Shmoe! I'm Cosmo! And this is my wife, who doesn't think you're funny, Wanda!

The Fool hits his MAGIC SNARE DRUM. We hear a RIMSHOT! POOF! The Fool conjures a bouquet of FLOWERS and hands them to Wanda.

FOOLFor you, my lady.

WANDA(sniffs) They're beautiful!!!

The flowers squirt CHOCOLATE SYRUP on her.

FOOLAnd Funny!

WANDA Hey!

TIMMYHa! That was awesome! And chocolatey!!

The Fool hits the magic snare drum. RIMSHOT! POOF! Two HANDS CLAPPING appear, applauding the Fool. Cosmo keeps laughing.

FOOL

Thank you, thank you... Hey, did you hear the one about...

COSMO HAHAHAH! Chocolate Syrup squirting flowers!! Classic!

The Fool swells up a little.

FOOLWhoa! Hey. Easy. Let me get a word in edgewise. If I don't get the funny out I get backed up!!

The Fool holds out his hand. Cosmo shakes it. BZZT! A million VOLTS of electricity go through Cosmo. He starts convulsing. The Fool returns to normal size.

COSMOHAHA! Argh! HAHA! Argh!

TIMMYThat was GREAT! Can you help me prank everybody who's pranked me?

FOOLOther than these two?

TIMMYOh yeah.

Timmy pulls out a LIST that's a mile long.

FOOLI dunno, Kid. It's April Fool's Day. It should be all about me! Why, given all the comedic power at my disposal, should I help you?

TIMMYI have gum.

FOOLSpearmint?

TIMMYYep.

FOOLI'm in!

COSMOHAHAHAHAH! He said "I'm!"

The Fool hits his snare drum. RIMSHOT!!

FOOLThank you! I'll be here all day! What's up with that??

RIMSHOT! POOF! They all disappear.

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. SCHOOL -LATER

Chester walks down the hall. He passes TWO LOCKERS with eyes peering through the vents... they are Cosmo and Wanda's and Timmy and the Fool's. Timmy and the Fool pops out of one locker as Cosmo and Wanda pop out of the other.

FOOLReady for some payback?

TIMMYOh yeah!

The Fool hits his snare drum. RIMSHOT! A SIGN appears in front of Chester and a REMOTE CONTROL appears in Timmy's hand! Chester reads the sign.

CHESTER"Braces polished, look up?" Cool!!

Chester looks up to find A GIANT MAGNET strapped to a ceiling FAN. He is stuck to the ceiling fan by his metallic-laced teeth. Timmy hits the REMOTE CONTROL. The fan spins Chester around.

CHESTERAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

TIMMYHa! HA! HA! April Fool!

AJ enters, carrying a huge REPORT. He spies Chester spinning.

AJ

HAHAHAH! That's hilarious!!

Timmy walks up to AJ.

TIMMYDude, what'cha got?

AJ(proudly) This is my report on the entire history of mankind! I've been working on it practically since the day I was born!

SFX: A phone rings. Timmy picks up a RECEIVER from OS.

TIMMYDude! It's for you! You've won the Nobel prize!

AJAgain?

Suddenly, FWOOSH! FLAMES shoot out of the top of the receiver and turn AJ's report to ASHES. AJ whips out a SECOND REPORT.

AJHeh. Good thing I've got a spare!

FWOOSH - from the bottom part of the receiver.

AJMY PAPER! NO!!!!!

AJ starts to desperately try to stitch the ASHES back together as Chester still swings on the ceiling fan.

TIMMYBwah! HA! HA! HA! April Fool!!

FOOLThank you! You've been great!!!

Cosmo laughs as Wanda looks on nervously. The Fool hits the snare drum - RIMSHOT!! And they all disappear!

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. - THE DIMMSDALE DINER - LATER

WE PUSH IN ON a classic '50s diner nestled in downtown Dimmsdale. The Fool, Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda are hiding in the parking lot, out of view.

TIMMY AND COSMOHA! HA! HA! HA!

FOOLYeah! He was more broken than a leg in a cast!!!

The laughter instantly stops. A COYOTE HOWLS.

FOOL They can't all be gems.

WANDAOne would be nice. And do they have to be so mean?

FOOLWhat's the word I'm looking for?

TIMMYIs it "yes?"

FOOLYes! And there's your next target.

Vicky sits at a BOOTH in the window of the diner. The Fool hits the snare drum. RIMSHOT>!! POOF! Timmy is dressed like a WAITER, carrying a BIG MILK SHAKE.

FOOLNow go over there and give Vicky this prank-shake! (re;shake) It's two parts hilarity, one part funny, with a touch of truth serum thrown in.

COSMOIt's yummy AND funny?? HAHAHAH!! You're a genius!!

FOOL/COSMOWhat's up with that???

INT. - DIMMSDALE DINER - A FEW MINUTES LATER

Vicky and her date, KEANU sit at their table.

VICKYOh, Keanu! This is the greatest date ever!

KEANUI know. You're like, almost as awesome as me and stuff! Can you, like, hang here a sec and think about me until I get back?

Keanu exits. Timmy steps into frame carrying the Prank Shake.

TIMMY(Sipping the shake) Mmm! This sure is a tasty shake!

Vicky takes it, instantly and starts sipping. Timmy smiles.

VICKYGimme that, Squirt!

Keanu walks back into frame, holding a GIGANTIC CLASS RING.

KEANUVicky, this might be, like, way too early in our relationship to give you my class ring but I think you and I have something in common.

VICKYNot really. You're sweet and nice, and I'm evil and vicious!

Her eyes go wide, she can't believe what she just said.

KEANUUh...

VICKYAnd I only like you for your money! (beat) What's the matter with me?

Keanu starts to tear up. Vicky looks at Timmy.

VICKY ARGH!!! What's in this shake?

TIMMYIce cream. Milk. Truth serum.

(slaps self)Darn it! I knew I shouldn't have sipped it! Uh... April Fool?

She looks at the shake. She gets it.

VICKYYou are so dead. And that's the truth.

She chases him out. ANOTHER GIRL slides into the booth next to Keanu.

OTHER GIRLDon't worry, I'll totally lie to you for your money.

KEANUYay!

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. - DINER PARKING LOT - A LITTLE LATER

Timmy ducks behind a BUSH as Vicky zips by. Cosmo and the Fool are hysterical. Wanda looks concerned. And Timmy is winded.

TIMMYMan! That was close!

FOOLDidja see the look on her face? I haven't seen anything that ugly since...

Cosmo interrupts with laughter. The Fool starts to swell up.

FOOL ...that Ugly since...

Cosmo keeps interrupting. The Fool swells up some more.

FOOL

Hey! Could you let me finish? I told you, if I don't get the funny out, I get comedy backup! Too much and I'll explode all the way back to Fairy World.

COSMOSorry. (beat) HAHAHAHAHA!

WANDA(to Timmy) Don't you think the Fool's pranks are more mean than funny?

TIMMYCosmo thinks they're funny.

WANDACosmo thinks everything is funny. Watch. (to Cosmo's face) Pudding.

COSMO BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. - THE BROKEN GLASS AND POINTY OBJECTS FACTORY - DAY

We hear a RIM SHOT! POOF! Timmy, the Fool, Cosmo and Wanda appear in the middle of a pile of SHARP OBJECTS.

COSMO (still laughing)

She said "Puh" then "Ding!" HAHA!!

FOOLWell, we're here at the broken glass and pointy objects factory.

BEAT. They're on sharp objects.

ALL THREEAAAA!!!!

They all jump off the pointy objects.

TIMMYWhy are we here?

FOOLLook up there!

Wanda POOFS up some BINOCULARS. Timmy looks and sees...

TIMMY'S POV - Mom and Dad wear SKY DIVING GEAR and are in a plane, getting ready to jump. They each wear PARACHUTES. Their plane flies directly over the POINTY OBJECT FACTORY.

MOMIt sure was nice of Timmy to give us these free skydiving lessons!

DADIf he wasn't so bad at pranks, I'd be totally suspicious! Ah well...

MOM AND DADGERONIMO!

Mom and Dad jump and pull the ripcords. PARACHUTES pop out and they start floating safely down.

ON THE FOOL - He hits his snare drum - RIMSHOT!! - The parachutes POOF into TWO BLUE RIBBON-WINNING HOGS! Mom and Dad start plummeting towards the factory.

TIMMYOh my gosh!! I wish those were inflatable pigs!

Cosmo and Wanda raise their wands... POOF! The hogs balloon up. Mom and Dad start to float back up.

FOOLHey! Cut that out! I'm backin' up!!

The Fool starts to expand a little bit. Comedy back up...

ON MOM AND DAD - Floating with the winds. SFX: RIM SHOT! Their floating hogs disappear.

DADQuick! Pull the cord for the auxiliary hogs!

TWO MORE NON AERODYNAMIC HOGS pop out of the 'chute.

MOM WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

DADWe are TOTALLY getting our money's worth!

They plummet.

ON TIMMY, COSMO AND WANDA

TIMMYI wish this were the rubber, trampoline and pillow factory!

POOF - the whole area turns into a plush, bouncy goodness just in time for Mom, Dad, and the hogs, to bounce OS.

MOM AND DAD (OS)(fading) WEEEEE-HOOOOO!!!

TIMMYMr. Fool? I don't want my Mom and Dad hurt... just pranked!

FOOLHey!! Restraint and compassion was not part of our deal!

TIMMYWell the deal's off!

FOOLWHAT? I practically GIVE you my comedic talent and you're giving me the hook?

TIMMYDude, you're not being funny, you're being harsh!

FOOLDon't you tell me what's funny! I am the APRIL FOOL! I'll show you funny! I'll show this whole world what funny is!

RIM SHOT! The Fool disappears.

TIMMYI have a funny feeling about this.

COSMO That's the spirit!!!

TIMMYWe better follow him! Come on!

POOF! And we cut to...

CUT TO:

EXT. LAUNCHING PAD

The Fool is about to launch a cartoony looking ROCKET with a giant BOXING GLOVE on the tip. Cosmo, Wanda and Timmy poof in.

TIMMYWhat are you doing?

FOOLProving you wrong! I'm gonna close my set with a little juggling, and bounce the moon into an orbit between the sun and the Earth and cause a new ice age!

WANDAHe's going to destroy the Earth! For the funny!

TIMMYHow do we stop him?

FOOLYou can't! I've got the spotlight, baby! I'm like a hamster on a wheel at a convention of...

COSMO(interrupting) HAHAHAHAH!

FOOLI'm like a ferret at a clown...

COSMO(interrupts more) HAHAHAHA!

The Fool expands with each Cosmo interruption. Timmy gets an idea.

Comedy back up! If I can keep everyone in the world laughing so he can't get his stupid jokes out -

FOOLHey!

TIMMYKaboom! He'll be blown back to Fairyworld! I wish all the air on Earth was full of laughing gas!

Wands are waved.

EXT. EARTH - A HUGE CONTAINER OF LAUGHING GAS appears in space next to the Earth. The SPIGOT turns and gas starts wafting across the globe.

CUT TO:

VARIOUS SHOTS AROUND THE WORLD - SAME TIME

PEOPLE all across the planet start to laugh. Africa. New Zealand. China. Greenland. The yuks keep building.

PEOPLE EVERYWHERE(laugh walla)

BACK ON THE FOOL AND TIMMY - The gas wafts in. The gang starts to laugh at the Fool.

FOOLTime to moon the...

Timmy Cosmo and Wanda laugh. The Fool starts to swell up.

FOOL..Hey Lemme get the punch line out!! ..The Earth! Darn it! Now it's not a complete joke!! Lemme try another one...

They laugh harder. The Fool swells more.

FOOL Prepare for a foolar ecli...stop it!! I'm not done!! Darn it!!

They keep laughing. The Fool swells even more.

FOOL Seriously, this is a good one.

The Fool is mighty swollen.

TIMMYKeep laughing! No matter how lame the joke is!!!

They are losing it now. The Fool swells bigger.

FOOL Stop it! I... I... can't get out my funny!

FROM OUTER SPACE - Gales of laughter sound from all over Earth.

BACK TO EARTH - The Fool continues to overinflate.

FOOL Too... much... hilarity...

The Fool bursts! KA-FUNNY!!!!!

FOOL (echoing away)

Tip the wait-staff....

CUT TO:

INT. UNCLE KNUCKLES CHUCKLE HUT - LATER

POP! The fool returns to a stage in an Empty Comedy Club room.

FOOLDarn it! They got rid of me!! But I'll be back! They can't stop the funny!

JORGEN'S HAND reaches in and pulls the Fool close to his face.

JORGENNow. What was that about my five head?

FOOLIt was... Just a... Joke...

SFX: PUNCH!

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. - TIMMY'S BEDROOM - A LITTLE LATER

Timmy climbs into bed. There's a SHAKE by his bed. POOF! Cosmo and Wanda poof in from the fishbowl, in their Fairy form.

TIMMYMan, I'm beat.

Timmy takes a sip.

TIMMY But I'll tell you what, even though I've seen all those pranks, I'm still the same gullible idiot I was before this happened. (looks at truth shake)Stupid truth shake! (back to normal)In fact, if you pulled a prank on me now, I'd totally fall for it! (re; shake) STOP IT!!!

Cosmo and Wanda start giggling. Wanda elbows Cosmo.

WANDAWell, you did save the world, Timmy.

COSMOSo we got you a "thanks for saving the world present!"

POOF! A PIE. Timmy, still the gullible idiot, grabs it happily.

TIMMYAwesome! Pie!

Suddenly, the stuffed groundhog pops out of the pie, pulls it's claws out and goes to town again.

TIMMY WAAUGH!

COSMO AND WANDAAPRIL FOOLS!

FADE OUT
