I knew God would be filled with Joy seeing them worship with all their might despite the difficulties due to their disabilities.” -Michelle Chang- “True happiness is when being able to live just the way you are with a sincere heart and a mind focused on God.” -Annie Kim- “Loved meeting the buddies and being the stepping stone for them to encounter the love of Jesus Christ.” -Jaeyoung Jenny Lee- “They are able to express their wants and are able to enjoy all sorts of activities and games! They approached me first, talked to me, and held my hand.” -Yeji Kang- “Rather than ME helping the volunteers and the participants throughout camp, every moment was just us spending time together in laughter and singing praises to the Lord.” -Sohee Park- “Praying to see how God will use these individuals to change the world we live in today.” -Jamie Lee- “To see them truly enjoy the summer camp was a blessing for me. I am glad that God made it possible for me and the kids to experience His love. In observance of Labor Day, all five locations of Class AGAPE will be on break this week.

Have a great weekend and we will see you the following week!

September 9th, 2014 | Regular Class AGAPE Resumes

Labor Day is on September 1st, 2014 (Monday) – we will be closed in observance of Labor Day on August 31st, 2013 and resume

regular class at all five locations of Class AGAPE on this day. Please report to Class AGAPE at the normal class time.

Happy Village is hosting the event to raise funds for local non-profit organizations serving the community.

Who: All of our Class AGAPE & Milal Family & Friends

Where: Starting in front of Wiltern Theatre on the corner of Wilshire Blvd. & Western Ave.

When: Wheelchair Roll @ 8:00 AM; Finish @ 10:00 AM

Why: Raise funds for Milal!

*** The President’s Volunteer Service Award & 2014 Camp AGAPE Contest Ceremony will follow this event.

September 13th, 2014 @ 11:00 AM

President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), Certificate of Congressional

Recognition Award and 2014 Camp AGAPE Reflective Essay Contest Award

Ceremony

PVSA Ceremony is to be held to show appreciation and reward our volunteers who have

been volunteering at Class AGAPE, Camp AGAPE, Love Festival and other Milal related activities and events. The ceremony will take

place after the Love Share 5K Run / Walk.

Who: ALL PVSA & Congressional Recognition Recipients; whether you participate in the Love Share 5K Run / Walk

The award is only applied for and distributed for upcoming Seniors (2015 Graduates) who meet the qualifications

specified on www.presidentialserviceawards.gov

What: Lunch for Marathon runners @ 10:30 AM

Ceremony starts at 11:00 AM
