Using a variety of stylish accents, adorable scrapbook paper and a great photograph, we set the stage for a great canvas wall hanging.

First, we measured the length and width of the sides of the canvas, adding about ½˝ to width. We then cut strips of scrapbook paper following these measurements. Next, we measured and cut scrapbook paper for the front of the canvas. Using double-sided adhesive, we pressed the paper strips around the canvas sides, neatly folding the excess over the front and back side. We then attached the paper to the front of the canvas.

We attached the ribbons and threaded them through the buckle, placing the ribbon along the seam lines of the paper pieces and securing the ends of the ribbon on the back side of the canvas. Using double-sided adhesive, we attached the photograph to the front of the canvas. The label holder was placed next to the photograph. Following the directions used for the charm on the Friendship Frame, we added this embellishment to the buckle using a jump ring. For a little extra ‘pop’, we stitched buttons onto the front side of our Friendship Canvas.

friendship frame

You and your friend will be center stage in this sensational ribbon frame. Attention to detail, including the use of glass beads, adds just the right amount of panache to keep it full of fun- just like your friendship and the moments you captured on film.

To create this frame, we first covered the frame with tacky tape and pressed assorted ribbons onto the frame at an angle (as pictured). To create the beaded accent underneath the picture, we strung glass beads onto bead wire and formed small loops at the end. We twisted to secure and cut away excess wire. Next, we slipped the cording through the wire loop and placed the label holder at the opposite end of the beads. We brought the cording around the back side of the frame and attached it to the right side of the label holder, pulling the cording tight to cut away the excess.

To make the circle charm, we simply used rub-ons and punched out the shape, then added an eyelet. To keep the dangling effect, we secured the charm with a jump ring. If necessary, place tacky tape on the back of the label holder to secure.

keepsake box

Fun treasures and prized possessions are sure to be found in this darling yet so functional keepsake box.

To begin, we painted the wooden box and wooden beads with brown paint and let them dry. Next, we measured and cut scrapbook paper to cover the sides of the box. Using double-sided adhesive we adhered the photo to the top of the box, the ribbon to the edges of the lid and scrapbook paper to the sides of the box. Using hot glue, we secured the brown beads to each corner. As pictured, we added the final touch by placing gemstones along the ribbon.
