American Veterans Care Connection (AVCC) has successfully
mastered the process of applying for benefits at Veterans
Administration so Veterans and surviving spouses can receive
money to purchase home care services. We love our process
because once it’s complete, your company gets to provide the
home care services.
ABOUT US
1
THE AVCC STORY
2
AVCC’s passion to help our nation’s Veterans all started when
Jeanne Asher, a registered nurse working in home care,
investigated funding sources to assist her Veteran father. Jeanne
quickly discovered just how challenging it is for Veterans to
obtain the benefits that they need.
As a solution, she created AVCC as a network of health care
professionals committed to helping Veterans and their surviving
spouses obtain home care services.
WHY AVCC?
3
The hardest part of finding the right home care provider is
getting started. With Veterans, the difficulty begins when trying
to find VA benefits to pay for home care services. Many Veterans
may not realize that they are entitled to a home care benefit.
At AVCC, we bridge the gap between home care providers and
Veterans. We give them the tools they need to work together
because we know the value of helping Veterans acquire the
support they need.

• The AVCC staff is comprised of qualified professionals
working together to navigate the process at the Veterans
Administration.
• Our competitors offer a loan program that is often confusing
to Veterans, surviving spouses, and home care providers—
our goal is to streamline the process at every step.
THE AVCC DIFFERENCE

Our process includes:
• Processing referrals sent from home care companies that have
identified Veterans and surviving spouses in their community.
• Completion of a comprehensive screening to see if we can
assist a Veteran or surviving spouse in obtaining benefits.
• Complete, submit, and monitor all VA paperwork.
• Arrange for the start of home care services.
• Continued monitoring to achieve quality home care services.
• Tracking for changes that affect VA eligibility, so Veterans and
surviving spouses remain compliant to qualify for benefits.
