Day 1: Schedule Details8:00 am-10:15 am: Check in and Services Fair Arrive at the Campus Center with your student to check in, pick up their room keys  and collect necessary Orientation information. Multiple offices from across campus will have booths at the Services Fair so please feel free to stop by and chat with them and set up an appointment if you like! 12:00-2:15 pm: Eco-Tour Boat Cruises After the Services Fair, come to the Research Pier to take off and go for a cruise down the Saco River! Meet some of the other families you may be seeing at events in the years to come. Day 2: Schedule Details8:30 am-9:15 am: Check in and Breakfast  Arrive at the Harold Alfond Forum Ballroom (located on the second floor rooms 283A and 283B) to check in and grab breakfast. The breakfast will be buffet style so feel free to go through the line more than once. 9:15 am-9:30 am: Welcome  While you are enjoying your breakfast the University President Dr. James Herbert, joined by the Assistant Vice Provost/Dean of Students Jen DeBurro and Director of Student Conduct Shane Long, will give you all a brief welcome to Parent Orientation and provide insight into what information will be covered throughout the day. 9:30 am-10:45 am: Get More Out of College with Paul Wesselmann Join us  in a  formal welcome to Parent Orientation. Hear from Paul Wesselmann, "The Ripples Guy"as our guest speaker.  He will provide insight about how you can help your student get the most out of their college experience.  10:45 am-11:45 am: Student Success in the Classroom Meet some of the faculty from your student's college that may even be giving them their diploma when the time comes! Hear about some of the requirements, curriculum, and what you student's college offers to them.  Below you can see where your breakout session will be located based upon what college your student will be in:             -Westbrook College of Health Professions:                Parents will students in this College will move to rooms 230 and 231.              -College of Arts & Sciences and College of Pharmacy               Parents with students in this College will stay in the Harold Alfond Forum Ballroom. 11:45 am-12:30 pm: Lunch to Go Each of you will be provide deconstructed lunch boxes from catering. Fill your box with the food selections you like and then feel free to head outside, explore campus, and enjoy your lunch! 12:30 pm-1:15 pm: Student Health, Wellness, and Safety Panel  Hear from the  Conduct, Title IX, Security and Student Support offices about what their offices can offer during your student's time here at UNE. 1:15 pm-2:00 pm: Student Services Panel This is an opportunity to hear from Student Academic Success Center, Global Education, Residential Life,  First Year Experience, and the Career/Internship offices about how they can help your student  as well as the tools they have to allow your student to thrive!  2:00 pm-2:45 pm: Financial Services Presentation Be introduced to all of what Financial Services encompasses here at UNE. Learn about FERPA, how to view financial packages and get the questions you may have answered.  2:45 pm-3:30 pm: Transition to College with Dean of Students Jen DeBurro  Enjoy the last presentation of the day with Dean DeBurro and learn about how to be the best support system for your student.  3:30 pm-4:00 pm: Closing and Survey
